Pink Hearts card

Hi there friends, how is your week going so far? I have had some sort of stomach bug hence my 'LIM' card being on the late side this time. I am ok now though luckily so it's back to my craft room ;)

Our heavy snow has melted now also,... thank heavens for that ! Never seen as much as the white stuff for years. Lots of villages cut off too, luckily we live right in town. Few photo's below taken after the first fall, then we got the same again !

Anyway enjoy your week whatever you have planned...and weekend.... if you live in the UK and are celebrating Mother's Day ;) I am being taken out for a lovely meal. Just glad my stomach has recovered now!...sadly we did miss a day at Center Parcs with our son and his family boo hoo.

Right onto my card and ahem yes...it is PINK again lol.

Pink Flower card

Good afternoon friends, wishing you all a
very happy Easter for the weekend too!
Such a busy week for us next week but
more about that later. I hope to show
you an Easter card I made at some point
too......I hope being the operative word.

I am just popping in to show you my
'Less is More' card for this week. The
theme is.......

'What's Outside your window'

I have some beautiful roses outside mine
so I went with that. I just had to buy this
lovely stamp as soon as I saw it. Sorry if
you now have stamp envy........blogging
does that a LOT to me I know!

First day of Spring today (so I am told,
my OH wasn't sure, he argues it's earlier).
Anyway I am back to my header with the
bunny as it's Easter at the weekend and I am
sure of that ;)

Anyway come and have a closer look.
Also enjoy your week ahead whatever you
 have planned ;)

Ps. We have our new furniture ( not the
leather suite yet grrr) arriving tomorrow,
much excitement in our house. We have
moved all the old stuff (ready for auction)
into our back sunlounge ( thank heavens
 for that room).

We are having our grandson to stay for 2
days next week AND we have also.....
(can't believe it still) bought a brand new car!
We saw the one (Nissan Quashqai) we have
been after (right model, right colour)and  just
went for it...yikes! We have to collect it while
we have Alexander too, he won't mind I think
as he is mad on cars lol.

I think we will be living off beans on toast
for the next month now lol. Oh and PLEASE
just don't show me any stamps/craft stuff
I NEED for the next few months please!!!

Having our usual Easter 'do' for the children
at the weekend too so I am going to be very
 busy I fear.

We got to see our daughter's new baby horsie
( only a year old) yesterday and I took lots
of photographs for her. Thought you might
like to see them. The first one is her new one
'McKelvie' ( named after my OH....family
name). The last one is her older horse
 Harry ;)

Pink wire card

Good afternoon friends, I have another pink
card to share with you today. Now there's
a surprise I went for my favourite pink
 colour yet again lol.

I also added some pink wire too as over at
'Less is More' ...........

"The challenge this week is a
Recipe
and for that concoction we would like you to
 include
SOME WIRE
We realise that this is quite a tricky one, so
if there's no way you can produce a card with
actual wire on it, an image or die-cut depicting
 wire will also qualify!"

As most of you probably know I also make
'wire' jewellery so I happen to have lots of
wire in my craft room.........so happy days!

I did a bit of watercolouring, added a few
stamped hearts and a sentiment. Then I
did a bit of random wire twisting........I
went a 'loose' look...and job done.

ps. Thank you for all your good wishes I
am on the mend at last now btw! Have any
of you bought one of the small precision
tipped  bottles for decanting your glue
into?

I bought one and almost lost the will to
live trying to fill it with glue yesterday.
You would have laughed so hard if you had
seen me trying various methods !

I tried a small funnel, it kept 'glooping'
everywhere as a vacuum developed in the top
of the small bottle. In the end I used a
cocktail stick dipped it into the glue and
'dripped' it into the small bottle scraping it
down the side as I went.

Won't be doing THAT again in a hurry, I
will try and buy one ready filled ( do they
do them?) or get a top to fit the larger bottles.

Anyway come and have a peek at my card.
enjoy your weekend whatever you have
planned ;)
