Butterfly card

Hi there friends, bit late with my 'Less is More' card this time, more about that later. Anyway here it is, they want us to 'Bring something back'. I used this very yellowing stamp set I bought years ago now.

I am ashamed to say I think I only used it once. I stamped it and watercoloured it and then covered it in pearls. I quite like these shades of pearls too, found in my stash from goodness knows where. I added a quick watercolour wash under my butterfly after cutting it out. I was going to add a sentiment too... then I thought...no...less is more after all ;)

My lovely FC teamie Cara is guesting over at 'LIM' this time too, do check out her gorgeous card!

A very big welcome to my latest follower too Mia, welcome aboard and thanks for choosing me to follow. xx

Ok come and have a peek at my card! .......so sorry I am late leaving you all comments again but I have been unwell yet again. I fear I may have gallbladder trouble, waiting for a scan now. At least I have lost a stone already as I can eat very little atm. so swings and roundabouts eh!

Of course enjoy your weekend/week whatever you have planned ;)

Good afternoon friends, lovely sunny weather
here today, hope you have it too !

Today I have a shabby chic card to show you.
Yes I know!!!!!......not my usual CAS style of
card at all is it. Just fancied a change, and after
all my latest decoupage (see an earlier post)
projects I seem to be in a shabby chic mood.

Anyway come and have a closer look and see
what you think.....

ps. Forgot to say our lovely new leather sofa
arrived safely and I just can't get my OH out
of his new electric recliner. All our children
want one now too lol. I had to prise them all
out of it last weekend.

The grandchildren now know where the hidden
buttons are to recline it too......drat... my OH
told them it was magic....well it worked for
 a while ;)

I have added a few photo's of our garden too.

Purple and Yellow card

Good afternoon friends, I hope you are all
enjoying your weekend. As it's Saturday I
have another 'Less is More' card to show
you.

It's a colour challenge this week and...

"Use opposite colours on the wheel "

"The  two chosen colours should predominate
and any additional shades should be minimal
and limited to neutral colours only."

I decided on using purple and yellow. Not
two colours I would normally use together
but I think it works. Just to add I have added
a clear gem to that bottom flower now !

 Have a great weekend,
we are having all our family here tomorrow
so off to do preparations now ;)

ps. Congratulations to William and Kate on the birth
of their new baby girl this morning too! can't wait for
our latest granddaughter to arrive now....just 6 weeks
to go ;)

Three Butterflies card

Hi friends/bloggers, here I am with this week's
'Less is More' card. Late with it this time, explanation
later.

This week it's a colour theme and .....

"For our colour challenge this month we have decided to give you a choice.
Either
Three Colours
or
Three Shades of One Colour
You may use any combination of colours you wish!"
This is what I came up with after a bit of thought,
hope you like it.
Just noticed I was showcased this week too, thank you
so much !

ps. Late with my LIM card this week as I was helping

helped with the baby as she is only 5 months.

Glad to give mummy a break away after all the
sleepless nights she has had. Hard to be awake
so much during the night, I had forgotten
what it was like lol.

Trouble is I sooo miss the baby now. she is
such a sweet baby. I wish we could bottle that
lovely baby smell too :)

Yellow butterflies card

Hi friends/bloggers, here we are at the weekend again
as yet another week flies past. I have another
‘Less is More’
card to show you and it’s a sketch this time.

I will post the sketch at the bottom, otherwise it and not
my card will show up on your daily feed. Has anyone else
noticed that?

Anyway here it is, after a minute of panic this idea
popped into my head. Aren’t you all glad when an idea
 pops in like that .........(smiles).
