The Flower Challenge #57 Reminder

Hi there friends, back today with more Reminder cards for 'The Flower Challenge'. Our theme this month is 'CAS', I love the look of a nice CAS card so they were a pleasure to make ;)

Our kind sponsor this month of course is the wonderful  Martha from JoyClairDesigns. I used her gorgeous digital stamps on my cards which I was kindly given to use. Also a few of the DT were gifted digi images to use also.

Our GD this month is the amazing Rachel  Alvarado from the rachelalvaradodesigns see her card on our blog.

We hope you will all try and take part in our challenge. Do visit our blog where you will see lots of inspiration from not only our amazing DT  but also from all the beautiful cards in our gallery there too.

Okay so come and see my cards below......

To make this card I first made my A6 card base then made a digital water coloured background. Next I added my digi flowers  and sentiment by JoyClairDesigns called 'Floral Friendship'. This is from the same as I used before, there are 8 stamps in the set btw.

I coloured my flowers using TH Distress inks, added  my usual sprinkling of sequins (metallic navy and blue ones mostly) and job done !

Card 2

I made this  card the same way as the first one, same digi stamp again, just using different colours this time.

The Flower Challenge #57 CAS

Hi there friends, as it's now June we have another challenge for you over at 'The Flower Challenge' again. This month our theme is 'CAS' so we would like to see a 'Clean and Simple' look to your cards.

Our kind sponsor is  Martha over at    JoyClairDesigns and we have a prize for our winner of 3 digital stamp sets (which is around $25). Our design team have also used some of her digi stamps  on our cards, see our blog for all details.

The amazing Rachel Alvarado from rachelalvaradodesigns is our Guest Designer this month. Check out her beautiful card on our blog and visit her blog too for some more fabulous inspiration too!

Enjoy your week, thanks for the visit and do come and take a peek at my cards below ;)

I used this beautiful floral digi stamp by JoyClairDesigns called 'Floral Friendship'. I water coloured my flowers  and background (so no digi background used this time). A few raindrops completed my card.

Card 2

I made my card base then printed a digital background direct to my card. I then printed my digi image and coloured using my Faber Castell pencils for a change.

White and Cream card

Hi there friends, I am back with another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. This time it's a colour theme and 'White and Cream'.

I made this quick card, hope you like it. Sorry if I am so late leaving comments for you all recently. I have had a few health issues and now my dear OH has them also, life can be so stressful at times can't it !

There may be only brief posts from me for a while as a consequence.

Anyway here is my card below, I enjoyed making it, I am so late posting it though as it was made a while ago, just sneaked in with it in the end.

Stay safe and stay well everyone.

LIM #418 cards

Hi there friends, I hope you are all keeping well and safe. I am back with more cards to share for the 'Less is More' challenge again. This time it's a recipe and  'Scribbles, drips and /or splats'.

I went with drips and splats, these splats remind me of the dreaded virus to be honest! I think we hear so much about 'Stay at home' I am becoming brainwashed now. It was on every break on channel 4 yesterday and it's slowly driving me potty now!

We get it.. stay home!!! grr...sorry for the rant. I think I may be slowly going mad now...or is it just me !...oh and why do we hear so many um's and er's on the daily briefing, one (the professor) is terrible for it...I counted 100...er.....um....er...er...er....I bet you will hear it now too.....sorry!!!

Ok and relax......back to my cards ;) I made two....wasn't sure about the first one but I did like the navy splats and silver drips! Then I had another idea I used a splat again but this time added a heart shape and same sentiment again. The heart is for the NHS and all amazing front line workers bless them every one and we are better together aren't we ?...stronger...not in a huddle of course ;)

Wishing you all a great day, stay well and stay safe...would say stay at home too but....well...read the above! xx

Out of Focus card 2

Hi there friends, I am back with another quick card for the latest 'Less is More' challenge. Their theme is 'Out of Focus', this time I made a green flower card and watercolouring as usual ;)

I stamped my image and them moved the stamp and re-inked and then spritzed it with water before stamping to give an out of focus look.

Well that was the idea anyway lol, I think it kinda worked. Enjoy your day whatever you are up to ;)

Frog card

Hi there friends, hope you are all doing ok? I have another card to share made for the 'Less is More' challenge again. They want us to make a 'One Layer card' and also 'Not use a Sentiment' too.

It was hard not use a sentiment on this one.....would have been something involving kissing I think lol. Anyway I hope you enjoy my cute little green frog ;) Stay safe and stay at home everyone xx

Thank you card

Hi there friends,  just sharing another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again today. Their theme is 'Big and small' this time, I went for big and small boxes on my card.

Going through all my stamps and dies recently I came across this sweet set by Stampendous called 'Window Box set'. I haven't used it very much which is such a shame as I think it has the cutest little stamps. Anyway come and have a quick peek at my card.

Also adding a quick pic of some sweet little make up remover pads and matching bag made by a friend of mine Ruth. She made me this custom order using some gorgeous fabric I think she was hoping to keep for herself lol. Wasn't that so lovely of her!

She makes lots of gorgeous re-usable things on her Etsy site HERE if you want to look. I plan on getting sandwich wrap bags for Summer picnics next.....have a picnic and save the planet at the same time eh lol ;)

Enjoy your day whatever you have planned ;)

Photo's still a bit dark with lack of light...sorry!
I coloured it all using Copics, don't you love that tiny ladybird crawling along? fun fact!...they call them Bishy Barnabees where we live too.....no idea why! ;)

Best Friends Forever

Hi there friends, hope you day is going well today? Mine is .....apart from dropping my Altenew Watercolours on the floor and all the little paints coming out of their tiny boxes arghhh! Hope I put them back in the right ones.

Today I have another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. Their theme is 'More but still CAS'.
I think they want us to use lots of little images...but still leaving that all important white space of course.

I found this sweet set of stamps by Clearly Besotted called 'Best Friends' I bought a while ago and hadn't used yet...oh the shame!! Have you noticed I seem to be making more cute animal cards lately.....I did manage to sneak in some flowers on this one though he he.

I stamped it, coloured it all  and added a few tufts of grass and job done. Come and have a quick peek at my card below.

Enjoy your week whatever you have planned........I have some exciting news to share, but not just yet.... will tell you all very soon ;)
