With Love card

Good evening friends, just popping in to
show you my last card for this week's
'Less is More' challenge. We have to
'Use some Wire'  this time.

I found some lovely navy coloured wire
in my stash so went with a blue theme
this time. Thanks for dropping by I
hope to see you again soon ;)

Now come and take a closer look at
my cards and digi page.....

ps. It's our grandson's 4th birthday tomorrow.
Our other grandson was 4 in Jan so they are
almost the same age!

We are going to celebrate with him tomorrow,
can't wait. I made a quick digi page with his
photo and also a card, see them below the LIM
 one.

I also have a new 'Spring' header, hope you like
it. I am thinking of changing it every week
now so look out for another soon ;)

enjoying a lovely Sunday. Just popping by
to show you another 'Less is More' card.

They want us to 'Use Some Wire' this week,
this is what I came up with. More watercolour,
a touch of wire bending and red for a change.

Pink wire card

Good afternoon friends, I have another pink
card to share with you today. Now there's
a surprise I went for my favourite pink
 colour yet again lol.

I also added some pink wire too as over at
'Less is More' ...........

"The challenge this week is a
Recipe
and for that concoction we would like you to
 include
SOME WIRE
We realise that this is quite a tricky one, so
if there's no way you can produce a card with
actual wire on it, an image or die-cut depicting
 wire will also qualify!"

As most of you probably know I also make
'wire' jewellery so I happen to have lots of
wire in my craft room.........so happy days!

I did a bit of watercolouring, added a few
stamped hearts and a sentiment. Then I
did a bit of random wire twisting........I
went a 'loose' look...and job done.

ps. Thank you for all your good wishes I
am on the mend at last now btw! Have any
of you bought one of the small precision
tipped  bottles for decanting your glue
into?

I bought one and almost lost the will to
live trying to fill it with glue yesterday.
You would have laughed so hard if you had
seen me trying various methods !

I tried a small funnel, it kept 'glooping'
everywhere as a vacuum developed in the top
of the small bottle. In the end I used a
cocktail stick dipped it into the glue and
'dripped' it into the small bottle scraping it
down the side as I went.

Won't be doing THAT again in a hurry, I
will try and buy one ready filled ( do they
do them?) or get a top to fit the larger bottles.

Anyway come and have a peek at my card.
enjoy your weekend whatever you have
planned ;)

Dragonfly card

Afternoon everyone, we have snow again.....must
be Spring then I guess lol !!! Stay safe all of you.
It's a recipe over at 'Less is More' this week
 and the theme is.......
Beads
Well as a jewellery maker (see earlier posts to view some)
it should pose no problem I thought......WRONG! The best
part of 2 hrs and  my first effort now firmly posted in the
'round' file. I almost lost the will to live.....enough moaning
sorry!!  Here is what I came up with, some distress
inking again and a tiny wire beaded dragonfly....don't peer to
closely at that please :) A big welcome to my latest followers
and thankyou for choosing  me to follow.

ps. have you all decided what you are going to do when
google reader closes on the 1st July?? not sure if friend
connect will go too, am assuming it will?? I believe the blogs we
follow in blogger will still be seen by us on our dashboard  though
but not typepad or wordpress ( thanks for the info Viv). I am
considering Bloglovin or Feedly atm. Most seem to be choosing
Bloglovin I see but I believe there is no option to use an ipad
with that. I hope to get one soon so that would be a pain.......
decisions, decisions!! Arggghhhh.
