Awesome Anenome card

Hi there friends, I am back to share another DT card made for RachelVassDesigns again today. This time I am using Rachel's 'Awesome Anenome' digi image, another of her new release images.

This flower is just so pretty! I really enjoyed watercolouring it too ;) Ok come and have a peek at my card, I will be back  very soon with another DT card to share ;)

Awesome Anenome card

I used a stencil 'Altenew Deco Wonder' on my card and watercoloured a background using TH Distress inks. Then I printed my flower image, watercoloured it and then fussy cut it before adding it to my card. A few 'raindrops' & water drops were added and my card was complete.

'Twelve Days of Christmas' card no #1

Hi there friends, I am getting into Christmas card making mode....yes it's THAT time of year again!
I mainly make digital ones these days for Xmas cards as they are so much easier when you have a lot to make.

This time however I am making an exception ;).......I have decided to make a lot of different ones to inspire you all. So I am having a 'Twelve Days of Christmas' post and each day I will be posting a new idea for a card.

There will be some traditional ones and some non-traditional cards, all are using watercolours ......apart from one which I batch made at first before I  decided on this idea!...so I will include that one as an extra at some point.

Today is day 1 and my card today features my favourite colour pink and this lovely Poinsettia stamp. I hope you enjoy seeing all my cards and that it gives you some ideas for your own cards too ;)

Live Every Moment card

Hi there friends, I am back with another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. This time it's 'Typography', ...hmm had to get my thinking cap on for that one. Anyway after a while inspiration dawned ! Been so busy making cards for future DT challenges I almost forgot to post this one too lol.
A big thank you to 'LIM' for choosing my card to be in their show case too ;)

Anyway here is my card, I used two stencils to make a water colour background and then added my bold sentiment.

Many thanks to my latest followers for choosing to follow me and welcome aboard! ...and of course I hope everyone enjoys their weekend whatever you have planned.

I made a few lemon cupcakes the other day...just had to add some pink smarties when I spotted them in the supermarket. Well you know me and pink lol!...the grandchildren loved them anyway ;)...pics below my card.

ps.We are moving everything out of our bedroom and decorating ahead of our new LVT floor being fitted on Monday. After the frantic kitchen upheaval recently (see earlier pics) this now seems like a breeze lol!
We had a leak on our new kitchen ceiling though, but as luck would have it the plumber was coming that day to fix a new radiator in and so fixed it....phew....and relax!

Ok enough waffle by me, come and see my card ;)

Autumn card

Hi there friends, just popping in with my usual
card for this week's 'Less is More' challenge.

It's a colour theme this time and 'Hot & Spicy'
This is what I came up with after a bit of 'faffing'
about.

My card is later than usual as it's been a very
challenging week to say the least for our family.
Also we had our grandchildren to stay also.

I will leave you the recipe for my OH's honey
ice-cream below too. Hope you love it as much
as we do ;)

Enjoy your week whatever you have planned!

LIM, Spicy, CAS

White Linen card
Bristol Board white card
TH Distress inks
My Favorite Things Sentiment Label Strip
Lawn Fawn leaves dies
Waffle Flower sentiment dies
TH Distress spray stain Tarnished Brass

I edged the leaves with the brass stain

Just love this shaped die!

Honey Ice-Cream

Recipe
(not sure where we saw original recipe, sorry)

Equal amounts of fresh custard & double cream
(We use the normal carton size of custard from either
 Tesco or Waitrose).
1-2 tea spoons Vanilla extract (to taste)
4 table spoons runny honey

Mix all together then chill in fridge for 30 mins.
Then put it in ice-cream machine to churn for
 20-30 mins. Freeze.

We just take a portion and add some crunchie bar
crumbled up. It's so yummy, I guess it could be adapted
by adding melted chocolate and raspberries too?

My OH makes several different types, not sure of
recipe for those but this is our favourite so far.
Enjoy ;)

Daisy card

Hi there friends, hope your weekend is going well so far ?
I have been baking again today for our son and family
(cheese and onion pie, pic below) and doing lots of
walking too.

My OH has been making his usual pear juice from our
plentiful supply of pears we have in  the garden. He
makes apple juice too from our own apples.

He is either making that or making his famous honey
ice -cream  pic below) or doing something arty or
gardening. He still has some model houses half painted
and now all sorts of long weird pots are hanging in
his garage along with other large ones he has made
 sitting on a shelf. Photo's soon !

Right back to my card for this week's 'Less is More'
challenge. This time it's a lucky dip and 'Watercolour'.
I was a very happy bunny when I read that I can tell you.
I do so love to watercolour. I have been designing some
digital cards too, will post those soon.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned. We
are off swimming again ...and eating all my bakes
and drinking all the juice....and there is cake too....
happy days!

I took the plunge and bought some Kuratake Gansai
Tambi watercolour paints and also experimenting with
Bristol Board too. Loving both so far!

I did lose a die from my new Hero Arts set  I am using here
boo hoo. When I cut the dies apart one sprung sideways
...darn it! The search goes on for it yet !!!

Ok here is my card, come and take a quick peek ;)

You, Me and the Sea

Hi there friends, I am here with my usual card for
the 'Less is More' challenge once again today.
 It's a theme this week and ........

'Your Perfect Holiday'

When I think of holidays or Summer I think of
hot weather and beaches.  We often go for a day
at the beach in Summer here as we have some
lovely ones not too far away.

So my card today has a beach theme, you may
have noticed I also have a sea/beach themed

 have a matching look ;)

Anyway here is my card, enjoy your weekend
whatever you have planned. We are having yet
another celebration lunch out, our third in 2 weeks
for our 3 family birthdays, and swimming
 again too ;)

Apologies for the photo quality but I am using
