Rainbow stripes card

Hi friends, hope your Sunday is going well so far!
I am here with my latest card for the 'Less is More'
 challenge once again.

The recipe this time is 'Stripe', I went with a water
coloured card. I painted a few stripes in bright
colours and then added a sentiment in white.
A sprinkling of sequins and job done ;)

Enjoy your Sunday, well what's left of it lol,
and have a good week next week too.

Now come and take a quick peek at my card ;)

ps. Such a busy week again, sorry I was so late
leaving you all comments. We have been busy
helping our son with his new garden. Also we
were having our garage roof re-done, looks so

Watercolour stripes

Hi friends, I am back again with yet
another card to share with you. I am
determined to make more cards and
enter more challenges this year. So
 here is another one ;)

I am really loving my TH watercolour
card as you may have guessed lol. I think
I may just be addicted now.....oh my!

I want to show you some new goodies I
bought recently too. I just adored this
lovely striped stamp and just HAD to
buy it.

Then I saw this wonky stitched
rectangle die and HAD to have that!
The cute little ellie and other little
stamps just jumped into my basket
all by themselves!......you know how
that can happen sometimes ;)

That's the trouble with blog hopping
isn't it.....you see 'stuff'!!!!! I daren't
look at anything else now as I spotted
more 'stuff' last night I might just
 NEED!

Apologies in advance if this has now
made you also NEED more 'stuff'.
I am still in love with watercolour,
I think I will be doing a lot more this
 year.

What has inspired you lately? and what
will you be doing more of this year? I
will be studying more photography
techniques too I hope....if I ever get
 the time.

Anyway come and have a closer look
at my card. Enjoy your day whatever you
have planned. I am off to check my lottery
 ticket now........if I disappear...........;)

Petite Paris card

Oooh- la- la.......Here is an other DT card made for
'Beccy's Place' using Beccy's gorgeous digi image
'Petite Paris'. This is such a beautiful image and so intricate
too.I am not surprised  it took Beccy ages to draw it all.
I went for a shabby chic look this time for a change. I used the
coloured version of the digi this time, you also get a black
and white image . I printed it out twice and used some
parts to decoupage the image.I decoupaged the canopies
and the hanging baskets. I 'aged' the edge of the card using TH
distress ink ( Antique linen). Computerized sentiment, I went
with a french one and used my french stamp set ( Clear
choice stamps) for the eiffel tower and the little ticket. I 'aged'
the ticket and sentiment also using TH (Antique linen) ink and
also some TH (Worn lipstick). The  striped paper ( Papermania
Henbury Lane)was aged  and distressed a bit around the edges.

I am  also entering this into a challenge
Shelly's Images...... What the text

ps.It's so hot and humid here today, not that I am complaining
at least it isn't raining  for a change ......now I just said that I
hear thunder in the distance...oh dear!

Number four Giraffe card

Here is another number card today,
up to 4 now ( very appropriate I thought
today.....see my ps below! Such a cute image
again from  the lovely Beccy of course.
It's available HERE, along with the others.
I coloured the image with Promarkers
& Copics and added some lines
around the edge for interest. I layered
the image ( cut with nesties again) onto
a bit of striped card ( Pink Petticoat
stripes). Then onto another 'dotty' card
matt. A few gems coloured to match &
a computer generated sentiment
 completed the card.

I have a little announcement tomorrow, but
will keep you guessing for now :)
ps. The new grandbaby may arrive very soon
we think, ...more pains last night. If he arrives
today he will only get a birthday every four
years though...it being leap year ! Just want to
see him now though so who cares lol.

Striped cards

It's week 54 now over at
'Less is More' & it's 'one
layer ' card week and.......
           STRIPES
Just can't get to grips with
the idea of stripes this week,
my mojo has gone...help!!!
However I came up with these
two ideas, not brilliant I know
but will have to do for now.
I used Distress inks for the
stripes on the 1st card and a
Hobby Art flower stamp.I
added a few liquid pearl dots
to the flower also. The second
card was made in GCF playing
around with stripes and wording.
Had that beatles song going
round my head as I made it  lol !

We still have snow about but it's
melting now at last. Keep warm
everyone :)
ps. Some freebies on earlier posts
if you are interested, just background
papers I made this time.
