Turquoise and Lilac card

Hi friends, hope all is well in your world today!
Wow I see we are into October already, how
did that happen so quickly ?

It's also world card making day whoo hoo
so what better day to show you a card.
It's a colour theme over at 'Less is More'
this week and.....

Turquoise and Lilac

That sounds like a great colour combo to me,
anyway here's what I made, come and have
 a quick peek ;)

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned
and come back on Tuesday (4th) to see the card
I  made for the start of  'The Flower Challenge'
blog ;).....so excited!!!! ;)

ps. Our visitors are gone now but still busy!
our son is coming tomorrow with his family.
Then we are helping our other soon move
house. They were let down with one they
wanted to buy at the very last minute. So will
move anyway but rent a while so they can
 look again.

I used these 'shape' stamps with some distress inks. I overstamped that with
flower stem stamps. Then used a coloured pen to add deeper coloured
stamens and stems. I added water for a 'watery' look and a few flicks of paint.
Then some Diamond dust for a crushed glass effect ;)

Turquoise Thanks card

Good evening friends, been busy with family
today but just popping in to show you my
'Less is More' card I quickly managed to
 make tonight.

It's  a lucky dip this week and we have to use

'Designer Paper in  a CAS style'

I found this piece of scrap paper, I think it's
some Pink Petticoat digi paper I printed out
a while ago. Anyway this is what I came up
with. Enjoy your weekend whatever you
 have planned.

ps. I made this mahoosive pie today for our
family gathering,I served it with various fancy salads
and am pleased to say it went down a treat too.
It's a Jamie Oliver recipe, link here if you fancy it.

However it did take me 3 1/2 hrs to make it
so I don't think I will be doing it again anytime
soon lol !! I took a quick photo as they cut into it
to show you, it's called a picnic pie and would
be ideal for that I think.

Two of our children also took a photo as they
couldn't believe just how big it was......
about 9"x 6" !

Happy Birthday CAS

Regency Anniversary card

Hi everyone, such a hot day here today, I saw 29c
in the car earlier and it's still 25c now.

We had a lovely day at the beach, and even had
a small ice-cream and fresh strawberries too.

Shhh we are on a 'fast' day today (5.2 diet) so
don't tell !

Anyway I am just popping in to show you this
 Anniversary card I made.

I gave it to my nephew to give to his wife for their
Anniversary. I thought it matched the Aquamarine
jewellery I made for her too.

Enough waffle, here it is, hope you like it  :)

It's a digital design by the Clipart fairy btw.

I printed a matching insert and also made some matching flowers
as you can see here.

Turquoise flower card

Just a quick post to show you another ‘Less is More’ card
I made. The theme is ‘Shadow stamping’ and it has to be
a ‘one layer’ card also.

Turquoise, flower, shadow stamping, Less is More

I had a few tries at the ‘shadow’, first in white, then in
turquoise, then in white again. Still too faint the shadow so
then in blue, then in white again and I embossed it. What a
palaver lol. Leaving it at that.......at least you can see the
 shadow now!

Enjoy your week everyone :)
