A Few cards

Hi there friends, I am back with a few quick cards I made recently, one stamped using an Altenew stamp and the other two are digital again. One was a sympathy card for my son-in-laws grandfather who died at the grand old age of 98, what a lovely man he was too.

My second card was for neighbours who just had their first baby aww, what a cutie she is too. The third one is for our nephew who is 21 on Sunday.

Will add pics of our recent holiday to Cornwall as promised later so the post isn't too long. Back with more cards soon too ;)

 

I am currently very busy printing lots of  'magical' pages and sayings to go with our 'magical/fairy' theme for the grandchildren at our family party soon. I decided to make a 'magical' themed treasure hunt this time, (there is often a treasure hunt!). I do make work for myself though don't I lol. Menu all sorted at least now too.

 

I wrote a story for them all a while ago (using their names which they all found hilarious) and have added another new story along the same theme. I bought a set of cars and two sweet unicorns as presents and I have clevery 'inserted' them into my story he he. So that's what the treasure hunt present will be too shhh! Written all clues now and printed A4 magical pages which I have all over the house now lol..... they will love it I am hoping. Phew and now for a rest!

I will try and take pics of the odd thing or two I made. I am loving am obsessed with the large lanterns just now (so much scope to add themes to them, Easter/Christmas etc.) and I made a fairy light jar to go on the wall also. Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned, I will be cooking (far too much again..I tend to cook for an army lol!) and also treasure hunting too...so exciting!! ;)

Hi there, just a very quick card today for the usual 'Less is More' challenge. Their theme, is 'Beverages' this time. A hard one for me but I came up with this quick digi card. My camera is playing up too so please excuse the rubbish pics!

Hi everyone, are you ready for Christmas yet? ....no me neither lol ;)

Just sharing a few quick cards I made for mass  production this year. To save time now I  make mostly digi ones, sooo much less hassle. .......I did add some glitter too !     I think my days of, stamping, colouring and arm/hand ache, and hair pulling out are well and truly over. Maybe it's my age... maybe it's my darned Arthritis....anyway here's what I made this year ;)     I found a few from last year too, so will  include those at the end also.     Cards all written and posted, pressie's wrapped, tree and dec's up, menu's planned .......and  relax!!!.......now where's that glass of wine ;)

Very quick post today, more digi cards again too. Two more for the 'Less is More' challenge. This week it's a theme and 'Vintage' Here's what I came up with, hope you  like them ;)     ps. Dashing as my elderly neighbour is ill and I am having to do everything for  her today. 

Lots of sparkle on the dress, earrings and machine, can't see it here of course!!

Halloween card

Good afternoon friends, hope your Sunday is going  well so far! I have been busy in my craft room again and made lots of cards. Don't you just love it when  inspiration strikes......trouble is then it goes  walkabout again just as quickly !

Anyway come and have a peek at my card, a spooky  one for a change. I don't really make Halloween cards  but this week over at 'Less is More' the theme is ....     Spiders or Insects

An ideal subject for making a Halloween card then! I even went mad and added lightning to the  background lol....and mine is pink of course ;)     Enjoy your week whatever you have planned .........and I will be back with more cards to  show you soon  ;)

Aloha card

Hi friends, here I am with another card to share! Over at 'Less is More' the theme is....      'Something Exotic'     Hope this cute little sea horse is exotic enough. Not hand drawn this time but another digital design.      These cards seem to take as long as making stamped ones. Lots of messing about with images and text and background bits  etc. etc.!

Anyway I hope you like it. I added a touch of Glossy accents to the eye. Also a touch  of glitter, not sure you can see it. Should have turned the sea horse around to face the worm  now I look again...oh well!

Lost in Time

Hi friends, just couldn't resist making another 'Less is More' challenge card. So here is my  third and last card, for this week anyway lol.

The theme  is 'Time' and it has to be 'one layer'. I decided on  another digital one, hope you  like it. Come and have  a quick look ;)     I am busy making a pair of earrings atm. using some yummy handmade (not by me)  lampwork stones in  shades of blue.I will show them to you when I finish them ;)     ps. I have given in and finally decided to buy a MISTI , for my birthday in August ;) I  think my children will be treating me.      They always want ideas what to buy me,  so I am suggesting that. If not I will get it  myself ;) I will report back how I get on  with it !

Hello there friends, just popping in to show you an Easter card I sent to friends and  family this year. 

Been so busy I just made the one design  this time. Welcome aboard and thank you for  choosing me to follow!       I was so sad to learn of the death of a lovely fellow crafter this week. Karen of 'Serendipity' will be sadly missed by us all. Rest in peace my friend. Also thinking of her lovely sister Val of  Canonburycreations and all her family too.       ps.Feeling very tired after sorting out our new  furniture, loving the new car though! Really  enjoyed  having our young grandson to stay,  he was  very well behaved too! Now just getting ready for our Easter 'do' and the egg  hunt......and relax ;)

Regency Anniversary card

Hi everyone, such a hot day here today, I saw 29c in the car earlier and it's still 25c now.     We had a lovely day at the beach, and even had a small ice-cream and fresh strawberries too.     Shhh we are on a 'fast' day today (5.2 diet) so don't tell !     Anyway I am just popping in to show you this  Anniversary card I made.     I gave it to my nephew to give to his wife for their  Anniversary. I thought it matched the Aquamarine jewellery I made for her too.     Enough waffle, here it is, hope you like it  :)     It's a digital design by the Clipart fairy btw.
