Kraft box with flowers

Hi there friends, I hope you are almost ready for Christmas ! Only 2 weeks away now, wow how did that happen. I have another box and some flowers I made recently to show you today. I think I am obsessed with making them now.

Two more in the pipe line yet  too! I made it for 'The Flower Challenge' again, lots of amazing examples there from our talented DT too... check it out. The theme is 'Anything but a Card' this month, has to have flowers on as usual too.

I am back with more DT examples on the 15th  but may just fit in another quick project if I can fit it in before then. Meanwhile enjoy your week ;)

I first made a box ,the finished size was 4"x7"x2.This time I made the lid using my Kraft card. Then I made my flowers & leaves using the foamiran and coloured them using my oil pastels. I cut my two shaped dies and added them to my card lid. I then added flowers and leaves and the silver mesh bow.

With Love Kraft card

Good afternoon friends, we have a lovely
warm sunny day here today, hope you have
the sun too.

Here is my 'Less is More' card for this week.
The challenge this week is to use....

'White space but not WHITE'

Had to think about that for a while, I do  like
a white card base. However after a lot of faffing
and pondering, I managed to produce this card.

Not my usual colours, a mixture of warmer
shades for a change. It will not escape your
notice that I did manage to sneak a little pink
 in there though :)

Please do come and have  a closer peek at my
card. Enjoy your Sunday and next week,
whatever  you have planned. I am hoping for
 a rest lol !

ps. Been so busy again, yesterday we packed all
our old furniture in a van and took it to auction.
Busy buying some modern (gulp) art for our walls
 now.

We managed to agree on two choices at once,
.....unheard of ! and also two watercolour bright
cushions. (Yes they did have some pink in them
lol). Just seen more bright watercolour cushions
which  matched the paintings really well. Shhh....
they will be arriving soon too he he.

Neutral card

Good afternoon friends, well that's Christmas over
with for another year! For my first card in 2016 it
has to be a 'LIM' one of course ;)
It's a colour theme this week and......

 NEUTRALS

I came up with this idea, using some Kraft card for
a change and also my new leaf die. I used some
cream card for the leaves and edged it with some
distress ink.

I also used some vellum and stamped some
tiny hearts onto it. I hope you can just see
it peeking through. A couple of hearts,
a sentiment and touch of twine and it was
completed.
See you again soon , I wish you all the best
for 2016 ;)
