Faux Bleach card

Good morning everyone, just a quick post to show you another card I made yesterday. I used the 'Faux Bleach' technique again, quite liking doing these now.     Anyway come and have a quick look and see what you think. I used a Bayleaf stencil  this time. Not sure if there is enough white  space for the 'LIM' challenge. Feel free to  delete it if not ;)

Happy Birthday

Good afternoon friends, just dropping by to show you another 'Less is More' challenge  card. It has to be 'one layer' and the sentiment has to be the main focus.     I went with two shades of turquoise this  time. Enjoy your week whatever you are up to ;) I plan on enjoying the lovely Spring weather, sunny and warmish  here today....hope it lasts !     ps. Just been searching for the sentiment stamp I used.(Now found it yeahhh!) I  stupidly put all my stuff away before making  a note of what I used.  The grandchildren  were expected next day and they are  curious about my craft stuff now.       After my son decided to make something using my nicest washi tape and best card with my grandson....wasn't a card just random sticking of stuff. I now hide my  best 'stuff'....is that bad lol ;) The TH watercolour card was hidden first ..... and relax!

Blue & Green Happy Birthday

Good afternoon friends, just popping by to show you another quick card.   For my texture this time I went with embossing and blue & green colours.

ps. Glad I made this card the other day, not feeling that good today. We had an  accident in our car yesterday. I was very  shocked at the time. Both ok, but  my shoulders and neck are sore now.     The car didn't have very much damage, we were so lucky, makes you think doesn't  it. Someone was looking after us yesterday! 


Just as I was getting over my cold too, always something isn't there. On another note, I see none of you wanted a 'no buy' craft stuff  March or April LOL.      Just as well, I already have an order in for more 'stuff'....what are we like ;)
Back with another card soon, enjoy your Monday whatever you have planned... we are fasting again today....and I even  lost another 2 1/2 lbs last week ....result!

Watercolour stripes

Hi friends, I am back again with yet  another card to share with you. I am  determined to make more cards and  enter more challenges this year. So  here is another one ;)       I am really loving my TH watercolour  card as you may have guessed lol. I think  I may just be addicted now.....oh my!       I want to show you some new goodies I bought recently too. I just adored this  lovely striped stamp and just HAD to buy it.      Then I saw this wonky stitched  rectangle die and HAD to have that! The cute little ellie and other little  stamps just jumped into my basket all by themselves!......you know how that can happen sometimes ;)       That's the trouble with blog hopping isn't it.....you see 'stuff'!!!!! I daren't look at anything else now as I spotted more 'stuff' last night I might just  NEED!         Apologies in advance if this has now  made you also NEED more 'stuff'. I am still in love with watercolour, I think I will be doing a lot more this  year.       What has inspired you lately? and what  will you be doing more of this year? I will be studying more photography  techniques too I hope....if I ever get  the time.           Anyway come and have a closer look at my card. Enjoy your day whatever you  have planned. Blue easel card and some digi pages

Good afternoon friends, a damp day here today, hope it's nicer where you are!     I have been meaning to design my own digi type easel card for a while now.   I have a few bought ones but really wanted to start from scratch and  make my own using punches, shading etc.     This is just a trial one, I will personalize them once I know who they are for later.     The worst bit (once I had figured out how to design it) was cutting it all out. Don't look too closely please lol ;)     Also I must thank Val for tips on  making this type of card, thank you Val ;)     I have added a couple of my latest digi  pages too if you want a peek. I seem to be really into making digi things atm.     I will be back soon with another 'LIM' card as usual though.     ps. I seem to be having a smashing time this week lol ! The front door fell off  my tumble drier and smashed the glass (it was quite old). I dropped two small  side plates and broke them.                                            
  Then I sat on a garden bench yesterday and I heard a creak....you guessed it...it broke. After my poor OH falling off a ladder last week, we have had several mishaps this week too lol.

Blue Happy Birthday card

Good afternoon friends, it's a lovely sunny day here today. So pleased that Summer has arrived at last.     Lots of days at the beach now I think, ....our  favourite place to be ;) I hope you all have  good weather too wherever you are in the world. Also hugs for all who need them too!       I have another 'Less is More' card to share with  you today again. It's 'one layer' card week this  time and the theme is .......       MASCULINE         Oh my!!!! panic stations.....the two things I  hate the most!! My first effort started out not too badly..........BUT it all went steadily  downhill after that , it ended up in the 'round'  file of  course.         This was my second effort, I seem to be liking  blue atm. Anyway come and have a closer look if you dare lol!       Have a lovely weekend whatever you have  planned. We are seeing our new granddaughter  yet again and helping the parents out. I am  cooking Sunday lunch again so a busy time for me as usual  ;)

Blue Happy Birthday card

Hi friends, just popping by to show you another  'Less is More' card. In shades of blue this time, hope  you like it.   Busy day today, lots of cleaning/washing ( hate Mondays  for that !), then our usual long walk in  the forest. It's a  fast day today too so always feeling cold.       Various 'Stuff' off to the  charity shop today, including  lovely gold lined little  delicate pale green cups too....I know ...I know.... but I don't need them...I don't need them!! Helped our elderly neighbour who had had a nasty fall  out walking. She was very shaken and  very bruised  and sore.        Lots of hot tea and pain killers/Arnica and she was feeling  a lot better I am glad to say. No broken bones but I bet  she is very sore and stiff in the morning.        My OH wanted some new teeshirts  ( he is down a size now) but wanted  a pastel shades/bright colour design   on the front and NO writing on.        Esp. no writing he said...."Why should  I advertize  someone's product or place" ...well you get the drift! "Why is it all the writing is always American too" he  wanted to know. Hmm no idea I said.....but as he  couldn't find anything I offered to design some for him.       Result.....I am having them printed as we speak so  will show you in due course ;) He said I should start  selling them lol as he was sure other men had the same  problem. Hmm do they ??       Right ....oops ...sorry for the long post and waffling !! Here is my card for LIM where the theme  this week  is 'Mostly Words'.

Orange and Yellow Happy Birthday card

Good morning friends/bloggers, it's a sunny day here for a change although a very windy one.      So much rain day after day, no end in sight either.  I  really feel for all those who have been badly  affected  by all the flooding.Stay safe everyone !       Saturday is here again so it's time for another 'Less is More' card of course. This week  it's ..........

'ONE LAYER' & 'Anything Goes'


I was awake quite early and before I knew it, even before I had got dressed I came up with this idea.      OH then dragged me away for our usual walk in the woods before I could take a photo or upload it....so annoying!!!! I did get dressed first  ......incase you were wondering lol.     Oh my this is turning into a long post  now.... sorry ! I know you all probably have little time and like me just want to see the card and items used and not listen to waffling. I will try and be brief now!      

 


I 'splodged' some TH distress ink  'Ripe Persimmon' and 'Sqeezed Lemonade' onto my card.     Then I added a Lavinia stamp, embossing in Wow   'White Pearl' and also in Momento 'Tuxedo Black'.      A 'Hobby Art'  sentiment  and a couple of embossed  lines  completed the card. Now starting another card, will post it soon. Have a lovely weekend whatever  you have planned.

ps. For those watching my battle with losing weight, you will see I am down another 2lbs ....onwards and downwards! Loving this 5.2 diet.

Blue flowers Happy Birthday card

Hi friends /bloggers a very quick post tonight. We are on babysitting duties tomorrow and I have a lot to do yet. My cards seem to be piling up now, so I  thought I would just post this one. More of my handmade flowers again, I am liking the next few cards I made for a change  lol. Hope you like them too. I won't list things I used but will answer any queries if asked. I made so many flowers one day as the elec was switched off all day while  they   felled trees. I have forgetten which dies I used now but  will try and find out if asked :) Happy crafting everyone ! ps. hot day tomorrow, but  I have a cunning plan ...... we have a new paddling pool at the  ready for  our young grandson :)

Blossom sprig card

Good afternoon everyone, we have a lovely warm sunny day  here today. I hope you all have the sun too, September isn't bad  so far ! Here is another DT card made for 'Beccy's Place' again, using Beccy's gorgeous digi image 'Blossom spray'. I made a  lovely sunny yellow card this time, hope you like it & that it  cheers you up whatever you may be doing today :) ps. We are on a  3 day diet, I will report back if we both lost weight ! Also my craft room is a complete disaster area atm., boxes & storage in the middle of the room, along with other 'stuff'. New shelves up already, old ones yet to be taken down. Then  we have the  fireplace to  move in here too.Oh the joys of decluttering !!!!!!

Distress butterfly card

It's week 52 over at 'Less is More'
and it's a.........         SKETCH

 

 I made this card very quickly
( see reasons below).Distress inks
used again and some spraying of water
etc. I used my new butterfly stamp
(Woodware clear magic stamps) coloured
to match the background once again.Then
cut out and 3d'd to the strip of card.
Sentiment ( clear magic stamps Jane's script)
used and added to a similar matching strip.
Glamour dust and gems added also.

Had so much to do this week that's
why I am late posting a  card. Got my
old computer back again, mended now
thank heavens but I am having to move all
stuff back from my ex. hard drive.
Now I have my fonts back and GCF & PSP
installed again I am almost back to normal.
Won't bore you anymore details but let's say
I won't be doing it in a hurry again !
