LIM Yellow, Blue & Grey card

Hi there friends, I am here to share another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. It's a colour one this time and 'Yellow, Blue, Grey', nice colour combo I think too ;)

I decided to use this hot air balloon set I bought recently, it has this sweet ellie included...aww I think it looks so cute ! I added a few punched hearts and decided that the sweet little ellie should be holding one of them ;)

Anyway come and have a peek at my card and enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned. We are swimming again with the littlies. I made us all a huge sausage casserole (vege version of course) , baked a healthy courgette and apple loaf and made some roasted almond, date and coconut balls for a treat...yummy....happy days !

Purple and Yellow card

Good afternoon friends, I hope you are all
enjoying your weekend. As it's Saturday I
have another 'Less is More' card to show
you.

It's a colour challenge this week and...

"Use opposite colours on the wheel "

"The  two chosen colours should predominate
and any additional shades should be minimal
and limited to neutral colours only."

I decided on using purple and yellow. Not
two colours I would normally use together
but I think it works. Just to add I have added
a clear gem to that bottom flower now !

 Have a great weekend,
we are having all our family here tomorrow
so off to do preparations now ;)

ps. Congratulations to William and Kate on the birth
of their new baby girl this morning too! can't wait for
our latest granddaughter to arrive now....just 6 weeks
to go ;)

Autumn leaves card

Hi friends, it's looking and feeling a lot like Autumn now
here. Brrr the heating had to go on last night and
for a while this morning too.

I am posting another 'Less is More' card once again.
It's a colour theme and.....

"For our Colour challenge this month we have chosen
Autumn's Bounty
Sounds kinda poetic doesn't it...
so we'd love to see autumnal shades in your cards."

This is what I came up with, not my usual colours,
but I am quite liking these for a change.Pop on over
and look at all the other cards over at 'LIM' too. There
are some real beauties, so lovely to see all the autumn
 colours and leaves too.

ps. So busy yesterday with family birthday celebrations,
our son's 40th this time! The third one this year in our
family. As usual they all came to us so I am still
 recovering!

The parties have become more frenetic lately, serving/
moving food around two crazy running toddlers and a
 crawling baby arghhh!

Phew that's the last party until Xmas, so I hope for a
bit of relaxation and card making now ;)

I will show you the teeshirts I designed for hubby in
another post as it will be very photo heavy as you
can imagine. He was very pleased with them I am
glad to say! Enjoy your week everyone ;)

Hi friends/bloggers, here we are at the weekend again
as yet another week flies past. I have another
‘Less is More’
card to show you and it’s a sketch this time.

I will post the sketch at the bottom, otherwise it and not
my card will show up on your daily feed. Has anyone else
noticed that?

Anyway here it is, after a minute of panic this idea
popped into my head. Aren’t you all glad when an idea
 pops in like that .........(smiles).

Yellow Best Wishes card

Hi everyone, I hope all is well with you all. Here is
my ‘Less is More’ card for this week where
 the theme is.....

     MASKING or STENCILLING

I used a Memory Box texture Flourish stencil and some
TH distress ink ‘Squeezed lemonade’ to make a shaded
look to my card background.

Then I stamped some grasses using a Cart Us stamp. I
used a Penny Black stamp for the sentiment then used
a Spellbinders die for the tag. A bit of lemon chiffon
ribbon and the card was finished.

Hope you had a lovely weekend :)

ps. Hasn't been a great week, we caught someone trying
to break into our house. Details on  my last post if
you want to know more.
