Hi friends, I am back again with yet
another card to share with you. I am
determined to make more cards and
enter more challenges this year. So
 here is another one ;)

I am really loving my TH watercolour
card as you may have guessed lol. I think
I may just be addicted now.....oh my!

I want to show you some new goodies I
bought recently too. I just adored this
lovely striped stamp and just HAD to
buy it.

Then I saw this wonky stitched
rectangle die and HAD to have that!
The cute little ellie and other little
stamps just jumped into my basket
all by themselves!......you know how
that can happen sometimes ;)

That's the trouble with blog hopping
isn't it.....you see 'stuff'!!!!! I daren't
look at anything else now as I spotted
more 'stuff' last night I might just
 NEED!

Apologies in advance if this has now
made you also NEED more 'stuff'.
I am still in love with watercolour,
I think I will be doing a lot more this
 year.

What has inspired you lately? and what
will you be doing more of this year? I
will be studying more photography
techniques too I hope....if I ever get
 the time.

Anyway come and have a closer look
at my card. Enjoy your day whatever you
have planned. I am off to check my lottery
 ticket now........if I disappear...........;)

Unforgettable card

Good afternoon friends. Just popping by to
show you another quick card today.

Just back from the dentist today,
not that keen on going like many
others. Few problems but not as bad
as I thought thank heavens !!

We still have  a nest of Bumble bees nesting
behind our facia beside our bedroom.
Bombus Hypnorum to be exact,a protected
species. I do want to help bees as they are
 in decline I know.

Our garden is perfect for wildlife
( the insect kind lol), so no wonder they picked
us!  But the constant buzz buzz,
( more like morse code really) is annoying.

They keep us awake at night and in the
morning too. Getting more used to it I guess
now though. They get very noisy at 2.30 am.
for some reason. Hope they buzz off soon!!!

Anyway enough rambling yet again....sorry!!!
Come and have a closer look at my card ;)

Elephant with balloons card

Hi friends, I hope all is well with you all. Yes
it's Saturday once more and so time to show
you my latest 'Less is More' card.

It's  'one layer' card week this time and
 we  have to.....

'INCLUDE AN ANIMAL'

I found this cute ellie in my files, it was
labelled 'freebie' but alas no name on it
sadly.

There is a name underneath the
image but I can't make it out. If anyone
knows where it's from I will add it !
( found out it's a Tiddly Inks image,
thank you Susan )
I coloured it with Promarkers & the rest
is computer generated.

Have a lovely mother's day tomorrow,
(if you celebrate it). My mother and MIL are
no longer with us sadly but we are expecting our
children and  grandchildren, so a busy
day ahead ;)

ps.Still feeling very tired with my drated Rh. A
and still achy but will improve soon as usual
in April as I always do.

 It didn't help having
my head sideways trying to do this sentiment
either. I do like tent fold cards though so.... ;)

Have a good weekend/week everyone whatever
you have planned. Thank you for all the lovely
comments too, so very kind of you all and very
much appreciated !

Baby card...... and some good news!

Hi friends, I am so excited today to be able to share
a bit of good news for a change. We are very happy
to announce that we are expecting another grandbaby
again!

  A lovely brother/sister for Alexander ;)
It will be our 4th and last I think so very special as
you  can imagine. A few early problems and lots
of scans but the latest scan and blood tests say all
 is well.

It's 3 months now too so I can spread the word.
We have known from almost the first month so it's
been so hard to keep quiet. It will be nice to have a
Summer baby this time also, the last three all arrived
 in Winter.

Anyway here is the congratulations card I made
yesterday, just before I received news from our son
that all the tests were good.I can send it now ;)

No blue or pink of course as we don't know the
sex as yet.  So I went for lilac ;)

Come and have a closer look........

Baby Elephant Get well card

Good afternoon friends/bloggers a rather wet day here grrr.
As it's Saturday once more I have another 'Less is More'
card to show you today.

It's one layer card week again, and the theme this
 time is.......................
Get Well Soon
Not quite as terrified making a one layer card these days
thank heavens. Thanks C&J for quite an easy theme this
week also !
Here is what I came up with, grab a hot drink & come
and take a closer look :)

I will try and leave my ramblings to the end of the post now
as  I know lots of you just want to see the card !!!!

I am the same when short on time, but I do like to read what
you all have to say when I have more time !...oops
rambling here sorry!.....there are photo's too to see :)

PP 'baby elephant' ( old image) ,chalking/Promarkers and
computerized  sentiment. I used a touch of glamour dust
as always too.

I have made another card but it's being 'flattened'
atm. due to inking and warping lol....I got covered
in ink making that one too. I will show it soon.

ps. Got new glasses at last! I went for varifocals this time.
Lots of squinting and close up peering when I go to the
supermarker as I hate having to keep looking for my
 reading  glasses lol.

I think hearing " For goodness sake  ( or other similar words)
mother put your glasses on" from my children and OH made
me realise I should be wearing  them full time lol.

I am  pleased to report I just love them, & took to them straight
away. I know you either love them or hate them when you
try them at first. I chose blue ones to go with my eyes, just a rim
at the top and clear at the bottom. Ahem and no you aren't going
to see a pic of me with them on !

Although now I can see even more things which need
cleaning in the house and can see DIY bits which still need
 doing too.....oh dear.

OH says a divorce might be pending now I can see
more lol....it so made me laugh that....who is he kidding !
Our daughter has been at the Goodwood revival with
friends and as usual  ( they are always dressing up in  strange
outfits when they get a chance) they got dressed up fifties style.

Here are a few pics of what she looked like. I made a couple into
digi pages ( can't stop making digi stuff now either !) so will
include those too. Notice the errrr PINK phone
box........now who do you think she takes after lol.

Baby cards

It's week 64 over at 'Less is More' & it's a theme
this time, which is......
                           How Charming
We have to make and/or use a charm on  our project.
I decided to make & enter two baby cards. I need one for my neice
who is expecting her baby any day now. No idea if it's a boy
or girl as they wanted it to be a surprise so I made two cards.
I will probably make another larger card with their names
or the baby's name etc.but I have a choice now at least. I was in
need of spare baby ones anyway so these will come in  handy
at some point I am sure.
Both cards are made using a Pink Petticoat image. It's a sweet babyelephant which I have had for a while now.
The first card is a girl's card coloured in my fav pink again lol. I used
Copics to colour the image and added some glamour dust and
chalked the edge of the nestie too. A tiny hearts cuttled matt layer
behind it and a pink satin ribbon also. I added a cute 'tiny feet' charm I
have had for ages, I love it for baby cards.
The second card was made the same way except I used a labels two
nestie to cut the main image and a square nestie matt under that one.  A
sweet 'baby pram' charm & an organza ribbon complete the card.
I am so lucky to have a choice of  quite a few charms as I make bookmarks
with them on. I have so many now as I just cannot resist them lol. What
a great surprise when I looked at the LIM challenge this week, I was a
 very happy bunny  :)
We are off to see my first grandson tomorrow , saw my 2nd grandson two days ago
& had a long cuddle. We are also babysitting for both of them soon.... happy days !!!!
ps. Oh oh I just looked on the ribbon girl site..............now I NEED more
'stuff' !!!!....... sighs.
