LIM Focus on Sentiment cards

Hi friends, hope your week is going well so far! I am back with more cards for the 'Less is More' challenge again where we have to 'Focus on the Sentiment' this time. It also has to be one layer too, still not keen on one layer cards but.....here are two more anyway.

It is LIM's 8th birthday after all, so I felt the need to make more than one card this time ;)

I decided on making some digital cards this time and with a humorous theme. For my first card I used a watercolour shape and coloured it a nice blue colour then digitally punched a circle and left it white. I used some chalk for the yellow sun and left a slight white streak for my (ray of sunshine).
 

Then I added my computerised sentiment and it was finished. That all sounds very quick but it wasn't of course lol, finding the right shapes, wording, punching, changing stuff etc. it all takes time ;)
 

For my next card I found a paw shape and used it as a digital stamp on a watercolour shape I have (I love the texture it gives too). Then I altered the colour, added shading etc. I added a computerised sentiment to finish it off, love love this pretty font...I buy so many.....and yes I am addicted! ....so it's not a free one again I'm afraid.

LIM Sketch 25 card

Hi there friends, I am back with another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again today. It's a sketch this time, I pondered a while then thought about doing an ombre background. Then I spied this digipaper I have had for ages now and that was kinda ombre looking so I decided to use that as my background.

I cut my top panel to resemble the sketch and added that then used a sentiment die I have had looking at me for a while now. I am trying not to buy as much craft stuff this year as I have so much unused stuff it's getting embarrassing now. Also we are saving up for a new kitchen so I am trying to be more frugal lol.

I am doing very well as I haven't bought a single craft item yet this year....(it's a record for me to last this long), it may change soon though so watch this space ;) Anyway come and take a closer look at my card. Enjoy your week whatever you have planned too ;)

Xmas cards

Hi there friends, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas ? We had a great time with family, still eating the left overs too so the New Year diet will just have to wait ;)

I forgot to post some of the Xmas cards I sent this year. So before I start posting stuff for the New Year here they are.

My next post will be my latest card for the 'LIM' challenge and  I  made a new freebie calendar for you all to share again too.

This was a card I made multiples of to send to friends and family this year.
The image is a Polkadoodles digi one, I added glitter and my own sentiment. 

I made 6"square ones and also some A6 ones too.

I made this one for our grandchildren, another digital design. I changed names for Charlie and Lana's card. Various digi images and background and I added my own names of course too. 

Another similar design, not sure I posted this one earlier or not, anyway here it is again.

Blue easel card and some digi pages

Good afternoon friends, a damp day here today, hope it's nicer where you are!     I have been meaning to design my own digi type easel card for a while now.   I have a few bought ones but really wanted to start from scratch and  make my own using punches, shading etc.     This is just a trial one, I will personalize them once I know who they are for later.     The worst bit (once I had figured out how to design it) was cutting it all out. Don't look too closely please lol ;)     Also I must thank Val for tips on  making this type of card, thank you Val ;)     I have added a couple of my latest digi  pages too if you want a peek. I seem to be really into making digi things atm.     I will be back soon with another 'LIM' card as usual though.     ps. I seem to be having a smashing time this week lol ! The front door fell off  my tumble drier and smashed the glass (it was quite old). I dropped two small  side plates and broke them.                                            
  Then I sat on a garden bench yesterday and I heard a creak....you guessed it...it broke. After my poor OH falling off a ladder last week, we have had several mishaps this week too lol.
