Cute Elephant card

Good afternoon friends, another week has flown by I see. Does anyone else have a list of about a million jobs to do...or is it just me?      Here I am anyway posting my latest 'Less is More' challenge card once more. It's a theme this week and.......     "Something that goes  pop or bangs"     Oh my that had me scratching my head I can tell you lol ! My first effort ended up in that 'round' file yet again.      Here is my second effort, I went with  balloons this time. Enjoy your weekend  whatever you have planned ;)

ps. We are taking a break in the Lake District soon so I have been making jewellery for my lovely SIL's again as little pressies for when we  meet up!     I will do a separate post later if  you want a nosey ;)

Blue Triangles card

Hello there friends, yes it's me again I am back with another 'LIM' challenge card! It has to be 'one layer' and the theme is...     'Geometric shapes and patterns'     It's a blue card this time and a bit of  stamping. I used 3 colours of ink and lined up the stamps to make a pattern.

Hmm still not sure about the triangles! I was going to go with two light ones and a  darker middle one. Then I thought, I do like  odd numbers.....so 3 darker ones.

I do like the large sentiment over them all at least. Anyway it finished so that's that ;) I added a few sequins.........I do love a  few random sequins lol as you may  have noticed!

ps. Oh dear!! I keep trying to make shorter  posts. I soo hate having to read long posts when all you want is to see the flippin' card.

I will try harder not to ramble....I will I will! I am feeling better anyway, thanks for all the lovely good wishes ;)      Our Hotpoint fire hazard death trap of a  tumble dryer was collected today at long last.  Thank heavens, what a faff ! Now ordered  another one....not a Hotpoint !!!!! Not  from Hughes either....who didn't want to know.

Birthday Wishes Balloons card

Good morning friends, Sat has whooshed  around yet again I see. It's 'Less is More's 5th birthday today....wow can't believe that!     The time has gone by so quickly, thank you to Chrissie and Mandi for starting such a great challenge. It's my all time favourite  one of course as you may just have noticed  lol.     So wishing 'LIM' a very happy 5th birthday  today !!! may there be many many years  to come. Also thank you so much for  choosing to showcase my card this week too,  so honoured.

Right onto my card, the challenge this week is a colour one and .....................       WHITE ON WHITE



One of my favourite challenges I must say! I went with balloons....5 of them to celebrate LIM's 5th birthday ;) I used smooth white card, vellum & fancy bobbly net to make the  balloons.


I did a bit of embossing on some of them to add  interest. I stamped a sentiment and added a few gems and job done.


ps. Enjoy your weekend my lovelies whatever  you have planned. I have a horrid cold, a swollen wrist and not feeling that great   Arthritis wise (always my worst month) alas. Otherwise I am feeling great ;)       But hey ho  Spring can only be a  whisper away can't it ??

Good afternoon friends, I hope you are all  almost ready for the big day now ! It's so  warm here today 15c, can't believe it's  December.       I seem to have most of my Christmas  preparations out of the way now thank  heavens so thought I would post a  few cards ;)
The first one is my usual 'Less is More' card where the theme is........       HOMESPUN

 This is what I came up with, Kraft card,

 some hessian, a couple of hearts which I

'rippled' with my ribbler thingamajig and 

some red cord. I added a pearl which I 

coloured red, job done ;)

The second card was one I made for

our gorgeous granddaughter Lana.I

can't believe she is 2 already (a

 few days ago)! Below is a photograph

The last card is another Xmas one,

similar to ones I have made recently.

 icicles hanging from the roof).

Maybe a couple of small trees either side

 of the front door  too with some coloured

 lights on if I manage to get more lights 

bought ;)

Good afternoon all, hope you are enjoying your weekend ;)   We were babysitting yesterday so I had to wait until today to make my latest  "Less is More" card. The theme this week is......     NUMBERS     My mojo seems to be missing today, I have searched and searched but no luck!     After a while here's what I came up with, hmmm.....I may make another !!!

Art Deco cards again

Hi friends, back to Art Deco again lol ! For the first card I was trying out a different  sort of easel card.      I saw a similar one in blogland recently   but I just used my own  measurements  for this one.       The second one was made for my lovely DIL. ..........have a nice day everyone, we have rain  here boo hoo!       ps.It's my OH's birthday tomorrow, so we  are off for a day of spa/swimming  and lunch curtesy of our children. Then a Thai take away meal with them all in the  evening ;)

Birthday Wishes card

Hi friends, I am back again with another card I made recently. Not my usual CAS type again, I am enjoying making different sorts of cards just now. Easel type cards I am liking too ;)       I was on a roll and made quite a few yesterday. Don't you love it when that happens ?     This one was made a little while ago and I had three more half finished. I have almost finished  those now too. Birthday Wishes card

Good morning friends, I hope all is well with you. As it's Saturday again I have another 'Less is More' card to share with you today.     This week we have to make a.......      

"One Layer Card 

and we would like you to include

Splatters"

 "These could be applied in any way you choose,

 stamped, flicked, spritzed, dropped, whatever!"

This is what I came up with,first  a bit of distress

inking for the background. Then I stamped my 

image and coloured the flowers using a darker 

shade of distress ink.

 I spritzed some silver ink over it all,

 stamped the sentiment and job done.That

sounds easy I know, but we all know it isn't

........  right lol ?!?!

Have a lovely weekend friends whatever you

 have planned. I am resting mainly today, the

air quality hasn't been great here for the last 

few days and it isn't helping my Asthma or

 hay fever one little bit.

On the plus side we had a lovely day at the

 beach yesterday , our first this year. The air 

quality was much better there too.....and we had

 an ice-cream!

Hi friends, I hope all is well with you all. Yes it's Saturday once more and so time to show you my latest 'Less is More' card.       It's  'one layer' card week this time and  we  have to.....       'INCLUDE AN ANIMAL'      I found this cute ellie in my files, it was labelled 'freebie' but alas no name on it sadly.        There is a name underneath the  image but I can't make it out. If anyone  knows where it's from I will add it ! ( found out it's a Tiddly Inks image, thank you Susan ) I coloured it with Promarkers & the rest is computer generated.       Have a lovely mother's day tomorrow, (if you celebrate it). My mother and MIL are no longer with us sadly but we are expecting our  children and  grandchildren, so a busy day ahead ;)       ps.Still feeling very tired with my drated Rh. A and still achy but will improve soon as usual in April as I always do.          It didn't help having my head sideways trying to do this sentiment either. I do like tent fold cards though so.... ;)        Have a good weekend/week everyone whatever  you have planned. Happy Birthday Darnell !

Hi friends/bloggers, I just found out that  it's the lovely, talented, amazingly amusing, delightful  Darnell's birthday today!      So I just had to make a  card for her.Sorry it's too  late to send it to you but at  least you get to see  it here in cyber space :)       It's the first time I have used this lovely d/p and  also this lovely die is NBUS too. I know Dee  will like that!         Hope you are having a lovely day today my friend. I wish you many more happy years too.       Also here is a baby blackbird to sing you Happy Birthday too.  I have been feeding it's mummy for a while now and  then this little baby of hers appeared today !       I am sure you will like it Dee........ and can you hear it chirping ??

Blue butterflies card & a win!

Good morning friends/bloggers, I hope all is well with you all today. I have another 'Less is More' card to show you again. We have to make a card  suitable for Jen's birthday this time. As she says she  likes butterflies I came up with this idea. Come and have a closer  look...............................

I think the butterflies are a DSB digi image, computerized sentiment and ribbon from stash. ( Ribbon was cut off a tee shirt I think).Trying a new  sort of bow too.
