Merry Christmas card

Hi there friends, I hope you are enjoying your week. I am here to share my latest card for this week's 'Less Is More' challenge. It's a colour challenge this time and 'Red & Green'.

I decided to make another Christmas card, I think my flowers seem more of an orangey red in the photo's, hope that's ok. I did a very pale watery background too which you may not be able to see here though. Winter isn't the best time for photography is it lol....apologies !

Good afternoon friends, I hope your weekend is going well so far! Very mild and warm here  today, not bad for October!      Over at 'Less is More' it's celebration time as it's  their 300th challenge. Wow can't believe that, I think I have taken part in just about every one  too.    So many congrats to all LIMettes today and to  Chrissie and Mandi for starting it in the first  place and to the fab DT also of course ;)

Celebrations & Festivals

I went with an Xmas card as that is the next big celebration arriving here very soon. I watercoloured the holly leaves and berries (very loosely) and added a touch of glitter.      After stamping my sentiment I decided to  leave it at that so it was quite CAS looking. I almost added a bit of green under the holly  leaves but white space is the key so I left well alone ;)

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have  planned. I plan to eat some straight out of the oven banana and walnut cake now.Can you smell the  aroma coming from my  kitchen? yum yum........well  of course you can all have a slice ;)

Kingfisher card

Good afternoon friends, wow it's September already....how did that happen!!! At this rate it will be .......err no, better not mention the C  word just yet lol.      Busy day today but just managed to squeeze in my usual 'Less is More' card. Can't rest until I have that done lol ! This week  it's a 'Colour' challenge and....     "the colours this time are  those found in  a  Peacock's Feather"


"You DO NOT need to use an image of a  peacock's  feather.... merely the colours... blues  greens,  violets etc, although you may obviously  use one if you have one at your disposal!"         I think I do have a peacock stamp somewhere lurking in my stash.......somewhere being the operative word. However I did find this pretty Kingfisher stamp...or is it a Humming bird??       I am going with Kingfisher I think, the colours seem just right for the challenge ;) I love these colours too so I was very happy ;)     Yes I know yet more watercolouring, again..... I just can't stop it these days! Anyway come and have a look at my card, and of course enjoy your weekend whatever  you have planned ! Good afternoon friends, another week has flown by I see. Does anyone else have a list of about a million jobs to do...or is it just me?      Here I am anyway posting my latest 'Less is More' challenge card once more. It's a theme this week and.......     "Something that goes  pop or bangs"     Oh my that had me scratching my head I can tell you lol ! My first effort ended up in that 'round' file yet again.      Here is my second effort, I went with  balloons this time. Enjoy your weekend  whatever you have planned ;)

ps. We are taking a break in the Lake District soon so I have been making jewellery for my lovely SIL's again as little pressies for when we  meet up!     I will do a separate post later if  you want a nosey ;)
