Dreams card and a sea horse

Good morning friends, I hope your
weekend is going well so far! raining
here atm. but think it may clear up
soon.

As it's Saturday yet again I have my
usual 'Less is More' challenge card to
share with you. Has to be a 'one layer'
 card and the theme is..........
'Time'

I found the only stamp I had which was
a clock face and no time sentiments either.
So I decided on a digi card for a change,
hope that's ok?

I did faff about doing the 'sky' bit and
finding the right font etc.  and adding
wording and 'splatters' ;) I also added
some glamour dust  sparkle  as a 'lining'
to the bottom of the clouds ..........
.......every cloud etc. ;)

Anyhoo come and have a peek at my card,
so sorry I am late commenting again, I will
do it now....... I promise ;) Sorry about the
photo's too the light is so bad today arghhh!

ps.I seem to be into 'sea horses' atm., must be
our trip to Somerset, Devon & Dorset, I
have 'sea' things on my brain. Anyway I
thought I would have a go at drawing and
watercolouring one.

Quite pleased with my first attempt so I
framed it lol, after first doing a crackle edge
to the frame. See it below my card. I have
made another now too, I  bought  three frames
so may frame 3 if they  turn out ok.

I had planned to frame some fairy type cottages
I  saw on cards. Now I want to make some
sea horses using sea glass and wire....watch
this space!

My  multi talented OH is into making fairy
minature cottages and has almost finished
one now. I will show you it when he does ;)

Santa bird card

Good morning friends, brrrr it's a bit nippy
out today! Glad I am nice and warm in my
craft room ;)

Over at 'Less is More' it's 'one layer' card
week once more and the theme is....

SANTA

I found this super cute Santa bird, just love
his expression too. I added some stitched
lines and coloured him with Promarkers
and added a bit of sparkle to his hat,
job done!

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have
planned. We are babysitting again for our
youngest granddaughter, so lots of cuddles
planned ;)

New Home card and some baby news!

Good afternoon friends, a rather wet and
cooler day here today 14c. We had a hot
sunny one yesterday though  26c too,
 so lovely.

Before I share my usual Sat 'LIM' card I
have some exciting news !

Our latest grandchild arrived as planned
yesterday at 11.50 am. Much worrying and
pacing about by me as usual. For once I am
pleased to say everything went perfectly.
Both mummy and baby are doing well.

She has no name as yet but weighed in at
7lbs. 10oz, so a good weight. We are
hoping to see her today if all goes well.
Pics and name to follow ;)

Sorry I am late commenting again but as
you can see we have been quite busy ;)

Right onto my usual 'Less is More' card
now. It's a 'one layer' card this week and
the theme is 'Home'.

I started a two layer card as usual then
realized my mistake luckily. Anyway
come and have a closer look ....

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have
planned ;)

Always and Forever card

Hi there, I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday !
I have had a very busy day , but more on that later.
I am posting another card I made recently.

Not a very CAS one again at all is it, but I did enjoy
making it. I made the background using a few
digi items then added the couple etc.
The inside matches it nicely I think. I must make
more matching inserts! I tend to leave them
plain and add just a sentiment.

The wording is by Wendy (TheClipArtFairy) I
believe? I found it on my computer anyway and
used an Art Deco type font to match the card.
ps. Busy today, my lovely daughter surprised me
with a new smart phone ! I had been complaining
about my old one and I think she felt sorry for me !

She bought it yesterday and spend most of today
setting it up and showing me how to use it. What
a star!, she said it was an early birthday pressie
for me (it's not until August).

So now I have a
new mobile and a new expensive camera lens,
both early birthday pressies lol.
Right sorry, enough waffling  ( yet again) here is my
card, come and have a closer look ;)

Digi Thankyou card

Good morning friends, it's  a sunny day here today,
yipee!!! so pleased to see some sun  after the
constant rain we have had lately.

I have  a digi card to show you today, another made
for the 'Less is More' challenge. It has to be
'One layer' with the theme of 'Thanks'.

I know a digi card seems like an easy option but
I did mess around making it for ages.

Still not sure about it either, the green leaves and
butterfly do look a tad more grey here.Oh well
showing you anyway.

digi, thanks, flowers

I tried to get some 'depth' to it by adding shadow etc.
I added a kind of watercolour background  which
I put a ragged edge too...another first for me digi wise.
I did add my usual Glamour dust and some liquid
pearls to the centre of the flowers also if you peer
closely :)

Here is another digi card made for my DIL, it's her
40th Birthday today infact. Pleased to say she
 loved the card too.

I have another watercoloured card to show you
tomorrow which is almost finshed, on a roll now.

Feeling a bit better now also, thankyou for all
 your good wishes.

Beach huts card

Here is a card I made a while ago for Chrissie  over at
'My Crafting Heaven'.She asked me if I would like to be a
guest DT and make a card for her using one of her digi
images. I have known Chrissie a long time ( 7yrs?)..... it may
be longer, we both started out making cards at the same
time anyway. So I couldn't say no, esp. when she makes such
lovely digi images. She is so clever.Anyway onto my card,
I am late posting it, sorry Chrissie, been so busy of late.
I asked Chrissie if I could use her 'Beach huts' digi as I
fell in love with it when I saw it. I also fell in love with another
one too lol and she kindly send me that one also, thanks Chrissie.
I will post the card I made with that  at a later date though.
I layered the beach huts image three times edging some of the card
with a matching ink. I used Copics to colour the pretty beach
huts, then 3d'd a little flower from a stamp set I had. I glamour
dusted the huts and the flower.I used some soft chalks
around the image. I embossed a strip of yellow card,
and used a computerized sentiment . Hope you like the card
and please check out all Chrissie's other lovely digi images
HERE.Link below on side bar too btw. Also all the other super
cards her DT team made with this fabulous summery digi HERE
.................................. and Chrissie's  card of course too :)
ps. Been rushing around shopping and cooking for my elderly neighbour
today while she recovers from her op.Managed a quick walk/washing
/steaming floors now I am to make a card for her too , a 50th
Anniversary one for a friend. Will have to check on her later and take
more food etc. Tomorrow is  a big food shop, looking after my
neighbours dog, then babysitting my grandson Alex on Friday.
I promised to make us all a roasted red pepper, onion and goats cheese
tart for us all in the evening too. Not enough hours in the day atm. lol.
Take care everyone whatever you are doing.
