Baby cards

Hi friends, just another quick post again. I should be leaving comments for you all, I will do as  soon as I have finished this post.         We have a dusting of snow today, hope it goes quickly. Stay safe and warm everyone ;)         As I had babies on my mind all day yesterday I decided to make two baby cards. It was a  very long  day, we were waiting to find out  the sex of  our 4th (and probably last)  grandbaby.         We only found out very late afternoon, so by then all my nails were chewed down.....well not really but you know what I mean.         It has made us all very happy as we now know it is a ......................girl !!!!! All tests say everything is fine with mother  and baby too which is THE most important  thing of course ;)         My DIL esp. is ecstatic lol. She has always  wanted a girl ( although she is crazy about her  boy  as we all are). So they will have one of each now just like my other son and DIL.        How clever is that & how happy we all  are  too ;) So Alexander will soon have a sister, he said  it was a girl all along........he must have known ;)       We all thought it was a boy !!!!       Anyway sorry about my rambling yet again, ( you can probably sense how excited I am ) lol.....more PINK !!!       Come and have a closer look at my two  baby cards.      

        I used an old digi I printed out ages ago, I think  it's a DSB one ? The gingham was also from spare card I found in a box.    Sorry no idea where from now.I had never used  it before. Oooh NBUS Darnell would be proud  lol ! I used Promarkers and Flexmarkers to  colour.   The sentiment is a Woodware clear magic stamp.

Stork baby card

Hi friends, today I have a baby card to show you. As  some of you will already know we found out today what  the sex of our new grandbaby will be.    I am beside myself with excitement as it's a............. ......girl ! After having  two beautiful grandsons it is rather  special that we will get a pink one this time :)    A boy would have been ok too of course as I just love babies  of any  description lol but a girl will be so lovely. All healthy  too which is the main thing I think. With my love of pink I am sure you can imagine why I am so excited.   Anyway forgive all my long rambling post today  here is  a card I made yesterday before I knew. I made two versions, here is the pink one :)

Pink baby bib card

                                        Another card for 'Less is More' week 68 we had to

 make a card suitable for a Baby or a ChildWell of course I had to make a PINK version didn't I !!! Made the same way as the first except I added a few pearls to the bib & two pink bows. Also a few punched butterflies & computerized sentiment. The flower is a stamp from 'Janes's script' set again.Tiny bit of glamour dust yet again also !Think I may have invented a new type of card too woohoo! Also entering this into the 'I love Promarkers'  challenge ( 118 use Die cuts) which is to use die cuts this week.I used a baby pink Promarker to colour the edge of the bib , the butterflies & flower so I guess it qualifies.Oh and my nesties too which are the die cuts !Just seen this challenge too 'PanPastel UK challenge'  which is to usePastel Coloursso entering that also. ps. Baby cards

It's week 64 over at 'Less is More' & it's a theme
this time, which is......
                           How Charming
We have to make and/or use a charm on  our project.
I decided to make & enter two baby cards. I need one for my neice
who is expecting her baby any day now. No idea if it's a boy
or girl as they wanted it to be a surprise so I made two cards.
I will probably make another larger card with their names
or the baby's name etc.but I have a choice now at least. I was in
 need of spare baby ones anyway so these will come in  handy
 at some point I am sure.
Both cards are made using a Pink Petticoat image. It's a sweet babyelephant which I have had for a while now.
The first card is a girl's card coloured in my fav pink again lol. I used
Copics to colour the image and added some glamour dust and
 chalked the edge of the nestie too. A tiny hearts cuttled matt layer
behind it and a pink satin ribbon also. I added a cute 'tiny feet' charm I
have had for ages, I love it for baby cards.
The second card was made the same way except I used a labels two
nestie to cut the main image and a square nestie matt under that one.  A
sweet 'baby pram' charm & an organza ribbon complete the card.
I am so lucky to have a choice of  quite a few charms as I make bookmarks
with them on. I have so many now as I just cannot resist them lol.What
a great surprise when I looked at the LIM challenge this week, I was a
 very happy bunny  :)
We are off to see my first grandson tomorrow , saw my 2nd grandson two days ago
& had a long cuddle. We are also babysitting for both of them soon.... happy days !!!!
ps. Oh oh I just looked on the ribbon girl site..............now I NEED more
'stuff' !!!!....... sighs.
