Mistletoe & Holly card

Hi there friends, I hope you are all well ! Happy Thanksgiving to all my lovely American friends over the pond  too ;)
I am back with another card for the 'Less is More' challenge once more. Their theme is 'Holiday' this time and also the dreaded 'One layer' card too. So not a fan of one layer cards still.... but hey ho.
I went with Christmas as we are inching ever closer to it now....yikes...are you ready?
The lovely Sarah is leaving 'LIM' now too......sob sob, she will be sadly missed by us all! but we also understand how busy life can be ...so we do understand of course. I would just like to wish her well and thank her for all her work over at LIM the past few years.

Ok... now onto my card, I had just bought these pretty Xmas stamps (yes I know.....did I really need yet another stamp set...well of course I did lol!!) ...anyway I decided to use them on my card. The Mistletoe  prop was also a new purchase (well it was Sooo pretty and Sooo sparkly) so I used that in my photo's too...happy days ;)

ps. I have been busy baking and cooking as usual today, butterbean casserole and a choc mint cake ( the cake was our grandson's choice!)...I will add a quick pic of the cake below......I know you like to see my cake pics ;)....sorry if you are hungry after seeing it too lol !!...oh yes don't worry...of course I will keep a slice for you!!! ;)

Holly card

Good afternoon friends, I hope your weekend
is going well so far! Very mild and warm here
 today, not bad for October!

Over at 'Less is More' it's celebration time as it's
their 300th challenge. Wow can't believe that,
I think I have taken part in just about every one
 too.

So many congrats to all LIMettes today and to
Chrissie and Mandi for starting it in the first
place and to the fab DT also of course ;)

A big thank you for choosing my
 'Watercolour Dragonfly' card to showcase
this week too ;)

Right onto the challenge which this week is
of course............

Celebrations & Festivals

I went with an Xmas card as that is the next
big celebration arriving here very soon.
I watercoloured the holly leaves and berries
(very loosely) and added a touch of glitter.

After stamping my sentiment I decided to
leave it at that so it was quite CAS looking.
I almost added a bit of green under the holly
leaves but white space is the key so I left
well alone ;)

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have
planned. I plan to eat some straight out of the oven
banana and walnut cake now.Can you smell the
aroma coming from my  kitchen? yum yum........well
of course you can all have a slice ;)

Merry Christmas card

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all well today.  Here is
another DT card made for 'Beccy's Place' again using Beccy's
digi image 'Merry Christmas'. I decided to ink my embossing
folder for a different look, using distress ink. I was pleased
how much texture I got  when using my linen card stock.I
embossed the wording part too and coloured it with Promarkers
highlighting the berries on that and the holly berries on the bg
image using my red gelly roll pen for a sparkly look.Don't
forget Beccy's November challenge too, details  HERE.
Come and have a closer look at my card...........
ps.My cold has gone at last but I am still coughing a bit. We
looked after our grandson Charlie yesterday and he was
so good. Lots of smiles and giggles and games of  'peep'
which he loves so much.Off to see our other grandson  Alex
on Sunday too, they are keeping us so busy these
 grandbabies !
