Holly card
Good afternoon friends, I hope your weekend
is going well so far! Very mild and warm here
today, not bad for October!
Over at 'Less is More' it's celebration time as it's
their 300th challenge. Wow can't believe that,
I think I have taken part in just about every one
too.
So many congrats to all LIMettes today and to
Chrissie and Mandi for starting it in the first
place and to the fab DT also of course ;)
A big thank you for choosing my
'Watercolour Dragonfly' card to showcase
this week too ;)
Right onto the challenge which this week is
of course............
Celebrations & Festivals
I went with an Xmas card as that is the next
big celebration arriving here very soon.
I watercoloured the holly leaves and berries
(very loosely) and added a touch of glitter.
After stamping my sentiment I decided to
leave it at that so it was quite CAS looking.
I almost added a bit of green under the holly
leaves but white space is the key so I left
well alone ;)
Enjoy your weekend whatever you have
planned. I plan to eat some straight out of the oven
banana and walnut cake now.Can you smell the
aroma coming from my kitchen? yum yum........well
of course you can all have a slice ;)
Smooth White card
Penny Black die
WPlus 9 sentiment stamp

Happy Little Stampers 'Anything goes with Dies'
As You Like It 'Old or New Stash & Why'
I am using new stash, I buy so much I really NEED
then it gets lost under other 'stuff' and not used. So
I am getting in quick with this as it's just arrived ;)

Thanks for the cake Viv! Delicious ;-) I love your watercoloured beauty. It's perfectly CAS and I think you were right to stop 'as is' because it looks stunning. Really fresh and crisp and such a fab layout. That sentiment stamp is awesome... I have stash envy! Thanks for playing at Less is More :)

So beautiful...love your gorgeous holly!
Getting a real feeling of cold and frosty mornings here Viv with that sprinkle of sparkly glamour dust on the holly sprig! Your water coloured sprig is sensational, as is the font on the sentiment. So glad you didn't add anything else to the card because it is CAStastic. Oooooooh errr! Getting a rumbly tummy at the mention of banana and walnut cake.
Lovely to see you joining in our 300th celebration at Less is More. xx
