RVD Tumbling Leaves

Hi there, how are you all doing ? Today I am sharing another card and another beautiful digital stamp by RachelVassDesigns again. This one is called 'Tumbling Leaves', it's so pretty!

Thanks for the visit and do come and take a peek at my card  below ;)

For this card I first made my digital background...I blended shades of soft green. Then I added my digi stamp turning it white first and adding shadow. Next I added a digital 'frame' with hearts and scribbled lines. I then added my sentiment from the same  digi set by Rachel and some shadow again. It was mounted on a black card base.

RVD Totally Tropical

Hi everyone, thanks for popping by to visit me, you are most welcome ;) Today I am sharing another card, this time using the gorgeous digi stamp called 'Totally Tropical' by RachelVassDesigns.

Such a summery looking and beautiful flower digi isn't it! Come and see my card below......you may need sunglasses too lol ;)

I made this card by first making my digital background (you could just water colour yours). I added a few water splashes  (and then dabbed it with a tissue), for interest also.
Then I added my digi stamp and coloured it using bright water colours. Lastly I added my wording ( which comes with this set) but turned it white first. I used a navy card base too.

RVD IG hop

Hi crafty friends, just popping by to share some news about a RachelVassDesigns Instagram hop today on the 19th June. Lots of lovely prizes to be won also if you take part.

See my Instagram page for all details, I am 'daizymae88' there btw. So happy to see so many of my crafty friends taking part. Not surprising though as we all love Rachel, I am on her team and I can tell you she is one wonderful person. Hope she likes this little surprise!!

So even if you aren't on IG do check out Rachel's Etsy shop HERE to see all the amazing digi designs she has there.

Here is my card I made for the IG hop, I used the beautiful 'Leafy Floral' digi. In fact I made two cards so posting them both below.

Thanks for the visit, see you again ...I hope, when I am back with more cards very soon!  Enjoy your day ;)

I used Rachel's beautiful digi called 'Leafy Floral' on my cards. The background is a digital one, but
you could make your own of course using inks etc.
I water coloured my floral image using |Distress inks  and added a few drips of water on the background for more interest.

Card two

I made my card using the same digi as above, another digital background too (a kind of alcohol inky one). I added some 'text' this time and turned my sentiment (which comes with this set) white for a change. Water colouring again, I added a white border and some shadow to my image and sentiment too.

RVD Crocus Love

Hi everyone, just popping by with more cards from the April digi release from RachelVassDesigns. This beauty is called 'Crocus Love', really makes me think of Spring.

We have lots of Spring flowers in our garden and I love seeing them all every year, esp. the bluebells which are everywhere and smell so nice too atm. See pics below.....of course we had lots of lovely Crocus's earlier too!

Anyway back to my cards, I decided to make three cards in the end as I just couldn't stop making them lol !

See Rachel's Etsy shop to buy anything as always.

Thanks for the visit once again , do come and see my cards ;)

I made this card by first making  my usual A6 tent fold card base. Next I made a topper using my Hero Arts Postage Stamps die and coloured the edges using my TH distress ink.

Then I made another panel, first printing  a digital inky looking background and adding my crocus digi image. I then cut it out using the same die again, coloured the flowers using Kuretake water colours, I added a few sequins and my card was compete.

For my second card I made the base card and topper the  same way as my first card. I added a digital frame and background and then added my sentiment. I cut out my panel like the first card again then water coloured using the same water colours once more. A few sequins and my card was finished.

For my third and last card I used the same method again but used an Avery Elle Finished Frames die. I made my digital background using a similar inky background panel and adding some digital lace over it. The sentiment says 'you inspire me' btw. a bit pale to see properly here.

I also added a digital oval and a sentiment shape with my sentiment added. My flowers were added on the top layer and I printed it all out and cut it using my die. Same water colours used again for my flowers.

RVD Spring Delight Border

Hi there everyone, I trust you are all well? I am back to share another of the April release digi's from RachelVassDesigns again today. This gorgeous digi is called 'Spring Delight Border', it's just such a delight I think too ;)

See Rachel's Etsy shop to buy anything as always. Back with more cards very soon ;)

For this card I printed my digi image and coloured it all using my Altenew water colours. I did my usual 'loose' water colour look again. A few dewdrops and my card was complete. Quite liking the colour combo here too ;)

Card Two

I made my second card the same way as my first one, except this time I tried the no line look. I used Rachel's very light digi here.....am not confident at doing this yet so not sure about my result lol! I do love the blue and yellow colour combo though ;)

RVD Hugs

Hi friends, how is your day going so far? Today I am sharing three cards made using these awesome digi's called 'Hugs' from RachelVassDesigns. It's another from the April release again. I am sure we have all missed having hugs with family and friends this past year .....I know I certainly have!

I must admit to suggesting some cute rabbits to Rachel for an Easter/Spring digi idea. What she came up with really floored me!! See Rachel's Etsy shop to buy anything.

I sooo love these sweet bunnies, I have to say that when I had finished making these cards I felt quite teary looking at the bunnies and the sweet sentiment. That has never happened to me with a card I have made before ...ever!! so it just goes to show how moving some digi images and sentiments can be.

Hope you like my cards and that they 'moved' you too! this first card went to my lovely sister- in- law and happy to say she loved it. Which one is your favourite ?

I love these cute kangaroos too and just had to make a card using them. I had them gazing out into the blue yonder and sharing a cuddle ....all together now aww!

Thanks for the visit and do please come again soon ;)

To make my card I first water coloured the edges of my card base in a nice pale blue. Then I printed my cute bunnies and added some 'sky' a circle for the sun and some digi grass. I then water coloured my bunnies and used some chalk for the sun.

A few clear sequins and my card was complete. I left the circle white to begin with for a 'moon' then thought it looked odd with the blue sky so coloured it yellow/orange lol. I will share both versions anyway...I still quite like my 'moon' ;)

Card Two

Aww ....I still love looking at this one and the sweet bunnies gazing at their moon....aww bless !
Made the same way as the first one except that I used a white stitched background, used a dark digital background, added a whuite circle for my moon and made the sentiment white this time. The bunnies were coloured using my Polychromo's.

Card Three

Water coloured the edge of my card base again, added my digi image and a bit of sky. Added my sentiment and also added a heart digi. I then cut my topper panel, water coloured more sky and my kangaroos and grounded them, a few clear sequins and job done!

Aren't they just the cutest!

It really feels more like Spring now doesn't it, made me so happy when I saw this gorgeous digi too! In the end I made two cards using this pretty image. Do come and see my cards and thanks for the visit also ;)

I first made my card base then I printed a digi frame and water colour background. Next I added my flower image and some digi black cotton too. I coloured my flowers using my Polychromo pencils for a change. A few clear dewdrops and my card was complete.

Second card.

For my second card I used my latest frame die from Waffle Flower called 'Heart Frame Die'. I made a black card base then added my heart topper using TH distress ink around the edge.

I then printed my beautiful daffodil digi and sentiment and cut it using a different stitched frame die (sorry I can't remember which one now as I have so many). I coloured my flower using pencils again. a few gold gems and my card was finished.

Hi there friends, another card here using a digi from RachelVassDesigns again. This one is called 'Ruffled Flowers Background', isn't it so pretty too!

See Rachel's Etsy shop to buy anything as always, thanks for the visit also ;)

ps So sorry I am late commenting again! few stomach issues again haven't helped but will be leaving comments for you all very soon I promise. x

I then added the rectangle again using thick 3d pads. a few black and one clear sequins and my card was complete.
