Happy Hydrangea cards

Hi there friends, I have more DT cards made for RachelVassDesigns to share again. This time it's Rachel's newly released digi image 'Happy Hydrangea'. I just adore this gorgeous digi! I have made a few cards using it now and will share them all together here.

I used water colouring on them all, I only have an inkjet printer for those who asked about how I water colour my digi images. I find if  I use my heat gun on it  then let the ink dry overnight and use a rubber/erazer all over the inked areas before I water colour I just about get away with it.

I try not to use too much water and I use water colour card too of course. Anyway I hope you like my cards as much as I do. I am trying to use different layers of colour just lately to try to improve my water colouring and mix my colours more too.

Let's face it it's all a learning curve doing anything crafty and we all learn more as we go along. I hope I have inspired you today anyway to have a go and experiment more with your watercolouring ;)

You can see all of Rachel's fabulous new digi designs over at her Etsy shop RachelVassDesigns. See you very soon with more cards to share ...stay well and safe my friends ;)

This time I decided to do a spot of hand drawing and water colouring. I went for a loose sweet pea flowers look. I quite enjoyed it really, but you have to be in the right mood to draw I find lol.

Anyway come and have a peek at my card and also see more fabulous cards in our gallery and ones by my talented teamies too ;)

and job done.

ps. I am doing a big revamp of my craft room,
boy do you aquire a lot of 'stuff'  over the
years!!! I am being strong and just keeping
 what I really really need.

I have a friend who will use my old stuff
and distribute to  various crafting groups
she knows of. Charity and disabled groups
mostly I think, so it will all go to a good
 home ;)

I am still trying to improve my photography!!
I am getting to grips with my new camera,
( I hope). Mostly out of auto mode now and am
using a  tripod ( yes OH ok you were right!!!).

I am waiting for a new lens as we speak.
Should be a birthday pressie really in August
but OH said to  get it now.(Oh I do love that man!)

It's been such a learning curve for me, so much to
 remember....lenses, white balance,f stops,ISO....
but I do want to improve as I go. Not there yet
but.....watch this space lol !!!
