Silver tree card

Good morning friends/bloggers,I have another 'Less is More'  card to show you today. The theme this week is.....      

"For our colour challenge this month we would like to see some 

Metallic Element plus One Other Colour 

of your choice."     I came up with this idea, a metallic silver tree ( Memory Box die),using  some matt silver paper  & some dark grey sparkly card from  my stash. I added a clear  star gem to the tree to make it a bit  more Christmassy.       ps. less than a week until our new granddaughter arrives ( Friday), hope to have more news soon.

Silver brocade card

Just popping by to show you another card today. Made  this one a while ago also. Pink Petticoat  digi papers again  ( Brocade), I think this one was in silver.Sentiment was also PP I think. Feeling a bit better, but now got a chesty cough,  so not much sleep again grrr. Managed to make a card yesterday, though it took me most of the day.Lots of handmade flowers and not  my usual CAS style is all I will say. It was one I had been  wanting to do for ages, ( you know when it goes round and  round in your head lol ). Quite pleased with it though, I will  show you when I get through a few others I have made recently. Stay well everyone, so many virus's going around just now.

A day to celebrate card

Hi everyone, it's a bit warmer here today thank heavens. I am still not feeling great since my fall on ice the other day.  Didn't sleep much and my legs feel so sore, at least my knees  are ok though, they took the full impact .Anyway onto my card, I decided although I felt zombie like a card making session would  take my mind off the pain...and it did :) This week over at  'Less is More' it's week 98 and the theme is........ Anniversary  I stamped my image and also stamped two more images then  used my nesties to cut some hearts. I also cut a tiny silver heart for more colour.I embossed the main stamped image in a silvery  sparkly colour ( can't see the sparkles much) & added a gem. A computerized sentiment , a bit of glamour dust ( can't leave  that out ) and job done.Enjoy your weekend everyone whatever you have planned. We hope to get the Christmas tree up very soon and start pressie wrapping etc., not even thinking about the food yet! ps. Happy Anniversary to Chrissie too , just two more years  and you will catch up with us :)

Music themed cards

Good afternoon everyone, the rain has stopped at last and we now have some lovely sun. Doesn't it improve your mood when  the sun comes out to say hello. Here are another two cards made  for the 'Less is More'  challenge again. I just cannot stop making 'LIM' cards some weeks ! This week it's a colour theme and Silver  On the first one I added another paper bow again,  this time I used  some music I printed on some paper. I added a quick silver ribbon  and also a sentiment in silver. I drew a little note and added gems  ( liked that idea). The usual glamour dust completed the card. On the second card I stamped a butterfly then silver embossed it, then I cut it out and adhered it to the card. A few smaller punched  butterflies were added with a bit of silver pen doodles. A dotty silver trail, computerized sentiment and a punched silver note  completes the card. ps. A big welcome to yet another follower ! I am sooo lucky with my loyal band of followers. It always makes me smile when I read your lovely  comments, it really does make my day so thankyou soooooo very much ! Just waiting to hear exciting baby news , my DIL's sister is having a baby any minute now !!! We don't know if it's a boy or girl yet either. More news  soon......I have a very big project to start soon, something new to me too !

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all having a lovely day today. As it was sunny here we went for a nice long  walk and picnic at the beach. Now I have a quick card to show you while my scones are cooking in the oven.It's another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. Silver Lace Flourish card

Good morning bloggers, it's yet another lovely sunny day here today. Just had a quick walk in the forest nearby, now making some yummy flapjacks. I add a 'five seed mix' and some oatbran and sultanas to make them healthier.Right enough waffling, onto my card. I wanted to use my lovely new lace stamp so stamped in silver and added some glamour dust to portions of it. Then I added a pretty swirl using some very sparkley silver card. Computerized sentiment and a sparkly  tiny star gem completed the card. Come and have a look..... ps. Wish you could smell my yummy flapjacks now :)
