Congratulations card

Good morning everyone, sunny here atm. I hope it's sunny wherever you are today. Just popping in to show you my second  card for 'Less is More' this week.       It's a recipe this time and 'Use some  Metal' Here is what I came up with, come and have  a closer look.

Good morning friends/bloggers, here is my latest 'Less is More' card.   It's a colour theme this week, I will post the colour  theme after my card . Otherwise as we all know 'it' will show up on your blog feed and not my card !        Sorry for my absence last week, more about that later. Warning too......long post....but a very happy one !!!! Now onto my card, hope you like it :)     

    I used my yummy new Lil' inkers hearts dies, a Paper Smooches wording die. A piece of Jute, bit of string, and some Doodlebug Sprinkles. The card was from a selection I have had for a while from QVC I think.

Sorry Chrissie, belated Birthday wishes from me too!

It's my BIL's birthday today also and my birthday

 on Friday 8th too...happy days !!!

Been so busy with visitors last week. My SIL and BIL

& nephew and friend  came to stay for a week.

 We spent most it at various beaches along the coast.

A visit to a stately home and gardens (where I dropped

 my camera) and lots of yummy meals out etc.

I hosted a big party for us all including our children

and grandchildren. We celebrated my nephew's birthday

 too while he was here. 

Lots of champagne consumed so not

weighing myself this week either !

We have more visitors arriving next weekend too.

I am hosting another party with my other SIL and BIL

and all our children and grandchildren yet again lol.

We also have my birthday to celebrate on Friday.

Then a wedding 'do' on Saturday and then this party

 on Sunday so I may go missing again !

It has been lovely though, I have been spoiled already

 too. Clothes, shoes, jewellery, craft stuff ! Then an 

AMAZING surprise yesterday!!!

I managed to drop my small Panasonic Lumix camera

.......sob sob!

 ( I use it mainly when I go out as it fits in my pocket). 

....I hope to get it  mended.

Well yesterday my other trusty Fuji Finepix camera

(OH's old one) wasn't working either arghhh! I was

 soooo frustrated, then my dear beloved said not to

 worry  and he  could help.

He went out to the garage....what would help there I

thought??...a hammer?? anyway he quickly returned with

 a large carrier bag. It said Happy Birthday on the front !

He said "This might help", inside was a top of the range

new camera (Nikon D3200) along with a tele photo lens!

Wow!!! I was so gobsmacked I wasn't able to speak

 for a whole 30 seconds!

Which is  a very LONG time for me believe me lol.

I had been wanting a newer camera for a while but didn't

want to spend money on one as I already have  two serviceable

 ones.

OH said he knew that and had researched which was the best one

for a while then bought it via our son so it would be a surprise

 for my birthday.

He said he felt so sorry for me being without a camera

 he couldn't let me wait any longer for my surprise.

 Of course he spent twice as much as I 

would have done.........but he said I was worth it.....

( I know I know...tears)   how lovely is that!

He is definately a keeper :)

So I hope to aquaint myself with my new present in the coming

 weeks.I do hope my photo's improve too :)

Ranunculus card

Good afternoon everyone,I have another pink card to show you today.  As most of you already know I do love my pink!!! Here is a card I made a while ago using my new yummy stamp 'Ranunculus field' by Stampendous.I used watercolour pencils at first but they didn't look right so I used some Promarkers over the top.I wanted  a 'watercolour' look so left white bits showing through.    I made it to enter into the 'In the Pink' challenge ( flowers)  but..............I was too late ( sorry Christine!!!!!), what can I say  my week just flew by too quickly yet again. Anyway I realised  if I added some wings to it I could enter the new challenge which is  'Wings'. Posting it early before I forget this time !!!!!!      Also entering it into these challenges below. Few more cards

Hi again, just another quick post today, one card and few 'mistakes'.  The first is for my niece's one year old, where did that year go??  ...anyway glad to report she is now expecting baby number two.  Very exciting for us all :) I made this  quick card using a Pink  Petticoat digi image. Don't look too hard at the colouring please.  I had mean't to add glitter to the dress but  then  forgot, so had  to recolour it again,.... didn't take a new pic of course.The hair didn't  turn out great either ! The last two were an idea I had but it didn't  quite work out. Thought I would just show you anyway, after the  second card I lost interest in doing another lol. In the first one  I blurred the stamping,then added trees which didn't look right.  In the second one I did the same again grrrr, gave up after that !  I did like the shape though so just showing you anyway :) Hope  you all have this lovely sun today.I didn't sleep well again  so now off to bathe in a few rays! Take care my  friends.

Baby card

Here is a card I made for my new grandson
Charlie. I love making baby cards, I have
one ready and waiting for my next grandbaby
expected soon too. I added glamour dust to the
largest letters and 3d'd the main image too.
Anyway I hope you like it :O)
ps. Can't remember which image I used now,
will add details later.........changing computers
again after my son has fixed my old now. Had to
move everything to my ext hard drive again, so stuff
everywhere yet!
Updated to add the image is called 'moon lullaby',
& it's a Pollycraft digi image.So cute isn't it,
I think the moon looks like  a large C too......... just
perfect for Charlie I thought.
