Fuzzy hugs card

Hi there friends, I have another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. It's LIM's 9th birthday too, wow can't believe it's been 9 years, anyway wishing you all a very Happy 9th Birthday!

Their theme this time is 'Less (Tiny& Few)', so I found this cute mice stamp from the Fuzzy Hugs set and decided to use that. It's by Mama Elephant and the sentiment is by Altenew...I found it on one of their sets and thought it was just perfect to use with these sweet hugging mice!

I am in the middle of another big craft room sort out and that has taken up a great deal of my time this week. I have bought new pouches for my stamps and magnetic sheets for my dies and even a labeller and laminator to help.

 

The shelves are looking a lot tidier now anyway and I even found 'stuff' I had forgotten about too. More to do yet and of course and now I can't find stuff since it's been moved BUT it will all be worth it I am sure ;)

Cute bunnies card

Hi there friends, I am back with another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again today. It's the dreaded 'One layer' card this time and 'Off Centre'.  I am determined to try and use all of my unused stamps this year......well most of them anyway!

Searching through my supplies I found these cute mice stamps and decided to give them a try. I coloured them using my Copics for a change. I am not great at using either Copics or colour pencils lol so please make allowances.

However I have been trying various brands of coloured pencils over the years to see which I like best. I have just purchased (Xmas present from my OH) a large set of Faber Castell pencils as I think I like those best. So you will be seeing me use those this year, along with my usual watercolours probably ;)

Make a Wish

Hi there friends, hope all is well with you all? I am here with my latest offering for the 'Less is More' challenge again. This time it's a recipe and 'Small Images' , (less than 2" diameter).

I decided to use this sweet little rabbit lying on a fluffy cloud as it is just sooo darned cute! I have used one from this stamp set before but then forgot all about it. Just goes to show I have waaay too many stamps!! (ahem the less said about that the better me thinks).

It's sooo very hot here today (26c in my craft room atm.) and for the next few days also..I am just melting!! (weather forecast says 36c on Thurs yikes!) I hope you like my card.

ps. We are just back from a fabulous holiday in Cornwall! (Pics in next post if you are nosey...and haven't seen them on Instagram). Such a beautiful place and we were blessed with great weather too.

 I won't mention the dratted horse fly who bit me and made my leg and hand almost double in size !!...ooops too late! (I do wear anti insect stuff as I am so allergic, they just like me I guess)... I am back to normal now luckily!

Anyway enjoy your week ....whatever you have planned ;)... we have our usual big family party this weekend. We are hosting it early this year because of our planned big kitchen makeover in August... ooooh so exciting!

Oh Happy Day!

Good afternoon friends, I hope your weekend is going well so far? I have my usual 'Less is More' card to share with you today. It's the dreaded 'One layer' card challenge again and 'Cute'.

Luckily I had just bought these super cute ellies!......as soon as I saw them they jumped into my basket and I was at the checkout before I knew it. Does that happen  to you too? It happens to me a lot lately.......you have no choice but to go along with it! But enough about my stamp addiction buying of stamps, you are here to see my card.

Come and have a quick peek, I added a few sneaky sequins ..........just because I HAD to,(hope I am forgiven...they are teensy tiny!) I find one layer cards challenge me still. That's my only excuse I'm afraid....well that and the fact I do love a nice sequin ;)

The Flower Challenge #13 Reminder

  I stamped and heat embossed my water colour panel  and coloured it using my Distress inks. Then I added  watery wash around my image. A sprinkling of  sequins and my card was finished.

Hi there, the sun is shining here today and it's feeling very 'Spring' like at long last! I was dying to try my yummy new stamp and use  some of my favourite colours with it. I just  stamped with clear ink and used my Silver E/P  and heat set it. Then I used my TH distress inks  and painted the flowers.


Can't wait to see what others come up with now for  our challenge this month.
