Gold Flower Autumn card

Hi there friends, just popping by to share my latest card for the 'Less is More' challenge again.
This time they want to see 'Dimension' on our cards.

I decided to use alcohol inks , I made a background piece and then cut it into squares. I added a pretty gold blossom .......oh and my usual sprinkling of sequins of course too lol. Still into using Autumn colours atm. which is a change for me ;)

Anyway come and see my card and of course enjoy your week whatever you have planned ;)

Autumn Leaves card

Good morning friends, I hope you are all
doing ok? A rainy day here again but a
good excuse to enjoy some time in the
 craft  room ;)

Here is my 'Less is More' card for this
weeks challenge which is a colour one....

FIRE

"Please try to stick to the colours that can be
seen in fire with any additional shades being
kept to neutral or metallic shades."

This is what I came up with, thinking of
Autumn shades too.I am sure I have made a
similar card in the past but hey ho ;)

ps. I am well into making my Xmas cards now,
happy days! but a warning to anyone thinking
of making the 'reindeer bags'. Please use edible
glitter in them as it can poison birds and wildlife
if they eat it. See HERE for more info.

Autumn card

Good afternoon friends, I hope you are
all enjoying your weekend so far.

As it's Saturday yet again ( how did
that happen so quickly!)  I have
another  'Less is More' card to share
with you today.

It's 'One layer' card week this time
and the theme is....

AUTUMN

I masked off part of the card and
blended a few distress inks on one side.
I  then stamped a tree and added a few
 leaves with Promarkers.

I used several colours to give it an
'Autumn'  look. Finally I added a
sentiment  and drew a few birds to add
more interest.

Job done....and relax . Enjoy your
weekend whatever you have planned ;)

Autumn leaves card

Hi friends, it's looking and feeling a lot like Autumn now
here. Brrr the heating had to go on last night and
for a while this morning too.

I am posting another 'Less is More' card once again.
It's a colour theme and.....

"For our Colour challenge this month we have chosen
Autumn's Bounty
Sounds kinda poetic doesn't it...
so we'd love to see autumnal shades in your cards."

This is what I came up with, not my usual colours,
but I am quite liking these for a change.Pop on over
and look at all the other cards over at 'LIM' too. There
are some real beauties, so lovely to see all the autumn
 colours and leaves too.

ps. So busy yesterday with family birthday celebrations,
our son's 40th this time! The third one this year in our
family. As usual they all came to us so I am still
 recovering!

The parties have become more frenetic lately, serving/
moving food around two crazy running toddlers and a
 crawling baby arghhh!

Phew that's the last party until Xmas, so I hope for a
bit of relaxation and card making now ;)

I will show you the teeshirts I designed for hubby in
another post as it will be very photo heavy as you
can imagine. He was very pleased with them I am
glad to say! Enjoy your week everyone ;)

Autumn tree card

Good morning everyone . I am still coughing like mad and have
been up since 5 am arghhh, didn't sleep that well either.
Please forgive me if I don't get around to doing much
commenting this week as I don't feel that great. I have
another quick 'Less is More' card to show you today.
It's week  90 and the theme  this time is.................
Autumn
I used an old digi stamp from 'Beccy's Place', one of her freebie
images I think. I coloured it with various Distress inks and
Promarkers added  a masked sun, some twine and drew
a few birds & tufts of grass etc.
In case you can't read the verse I have printed it below too.
Come and have a closer look..................
ps. A very big welcome to all of my latest followers,
thankyou for choosing me to follow !

whose shade you do not expect to sit."
