You, Me and the Sea

Good evening all, been so busy the last few
days as our grandchildren were staying with us.
A good time had by all I can report, although
 tiring of course lol.

Sorry I was late commenting this week,
but that is my excuse.Brief comments too
alas as I also cut my hand (see below).

Trying to catch up with so much 'stuff' now.
Here is my usual 'Less is More' card, it's the
dreaded 'one layer card' too yikes!

I was thinking 'wave' and 'sea' for the 'curve'
theme. Should have turned the card sideways
really for the 'sea' but I preferred it this way.
So going with big wave of water ;)

Back soon I hope,  have a very Happy Easter.

ps. I stupidly cut my palm with a very sharp pointy
knife today, very deep but little cut luckily .....ouchy!!

Blue Fish card

Good afternoon friends, just a very quick
post today. Popping in to share another card
I have made.....and yes it as another sea
 themed one!

Like the last one I used some of my old
horrid ancient peel off's as a mask. Then
I watercoloured over it and peeled them off.
Who knew using peel off's could be ok ;)

I smooshed...(love that word) the colour over
the white lines a tad this time for a softer
 effect.
See you again soon I hope as I have
another card to share ;)

ps. My lovely talented OH has almost
finished his 2nd fairy house. I am sooo
excited everytime I see it. Can't wait to
 share pics soon !

Also a very big welcome to Diane my latest
follower...welcome aboard ;)

At Sea

Good morning friends, can't believe it's
Saturday yet again. The weeks whoosh by
 don't they?

Over at 'Less is More' it's time for the
dreaded 'One Layer card' challenge once
more. The theme this time is.....

At Sea

I looked at all my stamps and came
up with this idea....simple I know but
I think I quite like it ;)

Enjoy your weekend whatever you
have planned. I am making jewellery
for a change, as gifts for my lovely
SIL's when I see them soon. I know
it will make them happy ;)

ps. Oops almost forgot to change my header
this week. I like to change it every week
now, did you notice ;)

Swirly sea card

It's week 81 over at 'Less is More' & this time it's a theme
Tearing
I decided to use my watercolouring paper for a change. I
didn't make the mistake of using it as a card base this time
as I find any card warps when you wet it....lesson learned
there. I just used them as panels , the swirliness of the blue
reminded me of water and foam swirling around, although
it could also be sky too I suppose.Anway I went with a sea
theme and added white embossed swirls and then some deeper
blue inking .I used some tearing at the bottom of each panel
& added some glamour dust amongst the 'spray' .I will add
a sentiment when I decide who to send it too.
ps. another hot day here again, we are in and out of the pool .
My son and family came yesterday and are coming again today
lol ....the draw of the cool  swimming pool is enough I think.
My grandson  joined us too this time for a brief paddle
 and loved it, pic below.
