Rose Alphabet card and some Freebies

Hi friends, just a quick post today. I have another   card to share made for the 'Less is More' challenge  this week. The theme is 'Alphabet' this time.

I made this quick digi card, using letters, a pretty rose and a water colour splodge.


I decided it might be good to make a Happy Birthday version too. Feeling generous I made  two copies I could share with you all ! I left the  rose out as it's probably copyrighted and only for PU and so not to be shared.

Maybe handy dandy for those hard to make male  cards. Or even if you need a card in hurry, so I made a pink and blue version ;)....enjoy!

Roses and Pears card

Here is another DT card again made for 'Beccy's Place'.This time the gorgeous digi image is called 'Roses & Pears'.Such a pretty image again, no idea how Beccy comes up with new ideas all the time , but she does.I decided to use the coloured version of the image for a change. I made some matching backing papers again, hope you can use them. I embossed the backing paper using the swirls folder, made a matching rolled rose and a butterfly . A gem,a few punched( MS) leaves, glamour dust and a computerized sentiment completes the card.Btw. I edged the image and sentiment in my PSP programme to match the image, just in case you were wondering.Please welcome Eret  as Beccy's guest designer for June ,check out her blog and fabulous cards. Birdhouse lots of freebies!

Here are the freebie papers etc. I made as promised yesterday. I made them to go with Beccy's lovely 'Shabby chic birdhouse' available HERE. There are two images available (as always) with Beccy's digi's  a black & white line drawing and a coloured version. I have made these freebies to go with Beccy's coloured version. I hope they are useful to you all.I know I like having a matching background sometimes as it makes the card making go more easily.Enjoy!Don't forget Beccy's June challenge too details HERE  for achance to win some of her lovely digi images.  Also for a chance to be her guest designer for July.

Shabby chic birdhouse card & some freebies !

Here is another DT card  made for 'Beccy's Place' using Beccy's'Shabby chic birdhouse' digi image available HERE.I used some lovely snow white Linen card I bought ages ago.It's whiter than my usual Linen card & the grain is more raised.I made an A5 card for a change & a different fold also. The front part is folded back on itself, I am sure you have all seen one before though lol. I coloured the image with various Promarkers, I will list then later...all will become clear why soon. I made an orange matt behind the main image. The sentiment is computer generated, I went with a new home theme. I decided ( with Beccy's permission) to make matching backing papers etc. for this image.You can see a bit of it on this card I hope.Anyway I will post them after the card here so you can use them if you wish. I decoupaged one of the roses & also made a matching matt to the sentiment too.Beccy always makes a black & white line drawing & a coloured image to match if you buy one of her super digi images.So if you use her black & white image here you can colour it to match my freebie papers. For your info I used the following Promarker colours. Sandstone & Cinnamon for the house, Pumpkin & Canary for the roses. Meadow green & leaf green for the leaves.Sandstone for the matt below the label, I printed the sentiment in a rich brown colour . I hope you like the idea of matching background papers/vellums/inserts. If you do I will be making more :)Another big welcome to my latest followers, welcome aboard. ps.
