The Flower Challenge #56 Reminder

Hi there friends, I am back with more reminder cards for 'The Flower Challenge' today. Our challenge is 'Use Your Favourite Flower'. This time I used the gorgeous stamp called 'Rose Dance' from Penny Black. It's a new purchase but I just adore it!...all details below.

See our blog for all the fabulous cards made by our talented design team and also lots of amazing cards in our gallery. The talented Bozena is our GD this month, see her 2nd card on our blog too.

Thanks for your visit, stay safe and well and hope to see you again soon ;)

For this card I used  the stamp called 'Rose Dance' by Penny Black. I stamped it using Gina K Obsidian ink, then water coloured my flowers and leaves. I used  a matching green water colour for the background.
The base card was edged with matching inks also, a few orange and clear gems and my card was complete. The card is a larger size too (it does look a little fat I must admit lol) it was so I could fit all of my flower stamp on it ;)

The Flower Challenge #55 Reminder.

Hi there friends, I am back with two reminder cards for this months challenge over at 'The Flower Challenge. This time I used the digi called 'Blushing Blooms' by Varadasharma which I was kindly given to use on my cards.

Varadasharma is our sponsor this month of course, do visit her shop if you get a chance as she has some lovely digi's there. Keia is our GD, see our blog for more details and her card.

Okay come and have a peek at my cards and see all the cards made by our talented design team and ones in our gallery also on the link above ;)

I made this card by first making my card base and colouring all the edges with some distress ink. Then I stamped my digi flowers all around the edge of my card panel and added the sentiment.

Then I used my Spellbinders Venise Lace die around the edge of my panel.
I used some distress inks on my flowers, added some black & clear  gems and my card was complete.

Card 2

For this card I went for a more CAS look and just added one of the flowers to my card. It was made the same way as my first card but I used a stitched edge die this time.

The Flower Challenge #55 Pretty Pastels

Hi there friends, hope you have been enjoying the warm weather we had recently here in the UK? Partial end of lockdown and so we have seen our children and grandchildren again...it's been over 3 months !

Wow that was sooo lovely too I must say. Now we just need to get more things open and be able to see more people and indoors and it will be amazing! Stay well and safe everyone.

Today I have more cards to share as it's now April and we have another challenge for you over at 'The Flower Challenge' again.

This month our theme is 'Pretty Pastels', what could be nicer for Spring too! Our kind sponsor this month is Varadasharma with a $10 gift code prize for our winner.  Varada also gave some of our team some of her beautiful digi images to use on our cards. I chose to use two of her lovely digi's on my cards here.

The Guest Designer this month is our December winner Keia, do visit our blog to see her gorgeous card.

Okay  do come and see my card below and thanks for the visit  and I hope you come again soon ;)

I made this card by stamping my images, I used the Varadasharma 'Pocket full of Roses' digi stamps and colouring using Altenew watercolours. I used a soft green to colour the background and added a few clear sequins.

2nd card

I made this card using the Varadasharma digi 'Pretty Poppies', it's so beautiful. I coloured it using water colours again, TH distress inks this time.
The background is a pale grey digi water colour, I made it grey as I liked the contrast of the two colours together.
A few clear sequins and my card was complete.

Anyway come and see  my card, I just used TH Distress ink Cracked Pistachio for a change! I love the fresh minty colour..as I write this it's very hot and humid here and the greeny-turquoise colour looks most refreshing to me....and who doesn't love a sweet daisy (I used one of Bev's yummy stamps again too) ;)
