Halloween card

Good afternoon friends, hope your Sunday is going  well so far! I have been busy in my craft room again and made lots of cards. Don't you just love it when  inspiration strikes......trouble is then it goes  walkabout again just as quickly !

Anyway come and have a peek at my card, a spooky  one for a change. I don't really make Halloween cards  but this week over at 'Less is More' the theme is ....     Spiders or Insects

An ideal subject for making a Halloween card then! I even went mad and added lightning to the  background lol....and mine is pink of course ;)     Enjoy your week whatever you have planned .........and I will be back with more cards to  show you soon  ;)

Witches hat card

Good morning friends/bloggers, it's a bit of a chilly start to this Saturday morning. Autumn is definately here brr !   For this week's 'Less is More' challenge it has to be a.....         "One Layer Card.  This week we have decided to have a theme of

Witches & Wizards (Or little monsters too!!)"

      I came up with this idea, using a tall thin card for a change. an old 'Beccy's Place' digi image and a computerized   BaaBook Hmk font.       After seeing the spider /hat combo I decided on this sentiment  I added the usual Glamour dust and job done.      

     

      Have a great weekend whatever you have planned.     ps. We have just bought a new sofa bed (& a new bed for  another spare room, the old one was too hard ). So we are busy  sorting  the spare bedroom yet again.        It is full of baby stuff  for the grandbabies mostly. We will  try and put things away in the large wardrobe there so at least  the room looks tidy once more.       So hard not to have one messy room esp. with grandchildren's things. I do like a tidy house though so........off to sort it now.       Our kitchen is like a brewery once more lol, OH has elderberry wine brewing ( having picked lots from hedgerows) and also Cider this year using all our own apples yum yum. Jam to make soon too ............it's all go here lol.

Spider witch hat card

Hi everyone, brrrrrr it's a tad chilly here this morning.  I think  Autumn has well and truly arrived now.My computer is showing  it's 8c , feels colder too.Today I have another DT card to show  you, made for 'Beccy's Place' again using the digi image  'Spider witch hat'. I made another Halloween/trick or treat card. Btw. We are having our new woodburning stove fitted today..... just in time I think, can't wait to see a real fire now.Yesterday we made lots of Elderberry wine from local berries we had collected. We also made lots of Elderberry jam too, more Vit C than blackcurrants and it has anti-viral properties too so we make a batch of each every  year now.So fiddly to get the berries off the stem though ( yes we do  use a fork),so  no wonder you don't see it much in  the shops.

Holiday hearth set

                                 Good morning everyone, we have sun today even if it's
a tad more chilly now . Today I have a few cards to show  you, more DT ones made for 'Beccy's Place'. They are all made from Beccy's latest digi's called 'Holiday Hearth set'. The first card was made using Halloween elements from the  set. The second card was made using the Christmas images. The third was made using the Cauldron from the same set, I also made a matching backing paper for it too. I am posting the background paper I made here for you to use ( see below). Btw. the new diet is going well, week two now and I have lost 5 lbs in total !!!! so very pleased. My OH has lost 6lbs too. The craft  room sorting is still ongoing, but getting there slowly.

Haunted birdhouse card

Good afternoon bloggers, a lovely warm sunny day here  today, I hope you have the same wherever you are.Today I have another DT card to show you made for 'Beccy's Place' with the digi image 'Haunted Birdhouse'. Just in time to  celebrate Halloween,so many things in the shops for Halloween these days aren't there.I think as our grandsons grow I will be making them some Halloween things too ( grins)! I added a suitably spooky sentiment, a cheeky spider dangling from his web and also a speech bubble to the little spooky house.Also a bit of glamour dust for sparkle.......can't NOT use something glittery. ps. A big welcome to more followers again, thankyou  so much  for choosing me to follow. I am happy to report more weight loss ! Over three days I have lost 5 lbs. and my OH has lost 6 lbs., now comes the hard part to keep it up........fingers crossed !  Craft room  getting more orderly now, but still loads to do yet.  Don't forget Beccy's September Challenge too, details HERE.
