Turquoise Thanks card

Good evening friends, been busy with family
today but just popping in to show you my
'Less is More' card I quickly managed to
 make tonight.

It's  a lucky dip this week and we have to use

'Designer Paper in  a CAS style'

I found this piece of scrap paper, I think it's
some Pink Petticoat digi paper I printed out
a while ago. Anyway this is what I came up
with. Enjoy your weekend whatever you
 have planned.

ps. I made this mahoosive pie today for our
family gathering,I served it with various fancy salads
and am pleased to say it went down a treat too.
It's a Jamie Oliver recipe, link here if you fancy it.

However it did take me 3 1/2 hrs to make it
so I don't think I will be doing it again anytime
soon lol !! I took a quick photo as they cut into it
to show you, it's called a picnic pie and would
be ideal for that I think.

Two of our children also took a photo as they
couldn't believe just how big it was......
about 9"x 6" !

Happy Birthday CAS

White Linen card
Turquoise Pink Petticoat digi paper

yum on the pie and the card, i thought your card took 3,5hours to make, then i reread it properly ;-) phew that's a long time, but maybe because it's also the first time? usually you can now go quicker or take shortcuts ;-)

I must have skipped the PS paragraph first time through as I then read it took 3.5 hours to make!! Glad it was the delicious picnic pie and not the card!

I just can't get over that pie!! It's HUGE! No wonder it took so long to make :D Fabulous card as always Viv. You have a great eye for colour and layout, and this looks absolutely gorgeous as a result. I love the choice of paper and how you've laid out the sentiment words against that. Great LIM entry!

Love your card Viv that paper is gorgeous and the die cut so pretty in it! Well what can I say about the pie? It looks awesome but you deserve a medal for everything you had to do to create it. I checked out the recipe and I don't think so!!!

Fantastic card--Love how CAS it is, despite the patterned paper. Was oohing and ahing over your food photo, and was thinking of clicking over to the recipe, until I read that it took 3 1/2 hours to make. Too much for me, but I'll come over to share the next one you make!
