Autumn leaves card

Hi friends, it's looking and feeling a lot like Autumn now
here. Brrr the heating had to go on last night and
for a while this morning too.

I am posting another 'Less is More' card once again.
It's a colour theme and.....

"For our Colour challenge this month we have chosen
Autumn's Bounty
Sounds kinda poetic doesn't it...
so we'd love to see autumnal shades in your cards."

This is what I came up with, not my usual colours,
but I am quite liking these for a change.Pop on over
and look at all the other cards over at 'LIM' too. There
are some real beauties, so lovely to see all the autumn
 colours and leaves too.

ps. So busy yesterday with family birthday celebrations,
our son's 40th this time! The third one this year in our
family. As usual they all came to us so I am still
 recovering!

The parties have become more frenetic lately, serving/
moving food around two crazy running toddlers and a
 crawling baby arghhh!

Phew that's the last party until Xmas, so I hope for a
bit of relaxation and card making now ;)

I will show you the teeshirts I designed for hubby in
another post as it will be very photo heavy as you
can imagine. He was very pleased with them I am
glad to say! Enjoy your week everyone ;)

Orange and Yellow Happy Birthday card

Good morning friends/bloggers, it's a sunny day here
for a change although a very windy one.

So much rain day after day, no end in sight either.
I  really feel for all those who have been badly
affected  by all the flooding.Stay safe everyone !

Saturday is here again so it's time for another
'Less is More' card of course. This week
it's ..........

'ONE LAYER'
&
'Anything Goes'

I was awake quite early and before I knew it,
even before I had got dressed I came up with
this idea.

OH then dragged me away for our usual
walk in the woods before I could take a photo
or upload it....so annoying!!!! I did get dressed
first  ......incase you were wondering lol.

Oh my this is turning into a long post  now....
sorry ! I know you all probably have little time
and like me just want to see the card and items used
and not listen to waffling. I will try and be brief now!

Happy Birthday card

I 'splodged' some TH distress ink  'Ripe Persimmon'
and 'Sqeezed Lemonade' onto my card.

Then I added a Lavinia stamp, embossing in Wow
'White Pearl' and also in Momento 'Tuxedo Black'.

A 'Hobby Art'  sentiment  and a couple of embossed
lines  completed the card. Now starting another card,
will post it soon. Have a lovely weekend whatever
you have planned.

ps. For those watching my battle with losing weight,
you will see I am down another 2lbs ....onwards
and downwards! Loving this 5.2 diet.

Poppies card

Hi everyone, another beautiful sunny day again here.
I have another 'Less is More' card to show you today.
This week the challenge is a.......
Colour Challenge
"This month we would like you to choose TWO opposite
 colours from this Colour Wheel"
This time I decided to use orange and blue. The blue
looked a lot more like turquoise when I took  the photo.
So I had to do a bit of altering in PSP to get it to show
the right colour.I always have trouble with my reds looking
pink too for some reason! I used some distress ink again
and also another of my latest stamps ( Memory Box
Luminous Poppies). I stamped , coloured  and cut the
flowers out to add behind the little frame. A tiny butterfly
completed the card, come and have a closer look...........
ps. Had trouble with my cold/ virus /Asthma/breathing today. I
just couldn't breathe properly at all and OH was most
worried I might pass out lol.Called 111 and they said
to call an ambulance....oh my! I managed to wait until our surgery
opened and the Dr gave me steroids. Now breathing again
I am glad to report lol.
pps. a big welcome to my latest follower too, welcome aboard!

Lilies card

Here is another DT card using a beautiful 'lilies' digi image
from  the very talented  Beccy again  .Such an easy image
to colour too. I just adore flower images as you probably
know already lol. She has another two new flower ones I will
be posting a pic of in the next few days.Anyway this lovely
image is available over at 'Beccy's Place'. Check out her
other super digi images and her freebies too.
The lilies card was made using my nesties ( curved rectangles),
I made a label by cutting both ends with the same nesties. Image
coloured with Copics/Promarkers and  coloured pencils.
Punched butterfly, gems & ribbon from stash.I used an ivory
pearlized card base for a change  this time. The sentiment was
stamped btw. using '( Jane's script) clear stamp.

freebies,.......I will be posting pics soon.Great for male or females
which is always a plus in my book !
