Best Friends Forever

Hi there friends, hope you day is going well today? Mine is .....apart from dropping my Altenew Watercolours on the floor and all the little paints coming out of their tiny boxes arghhh! Hope I put them back in the right ones.

Today I have another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. Their theme is 'More but still CAS'.
I think they want us to use lots of little images...but still leaving that all important white space of course.

I found this sweet set of stamps by Clearly Besotted called 'Best Friends' I bought a while ago and hadn't used yet...oh the shame!! Have you noticed I seem to be making more cute animal cards lately.....I did manage to sneak in some flowers on this one though he he.

I stamped it, coloured it all  and added a few tufts of grass and job done. Come and have a quick peek at my card below.

Enjoy your week whatever you have planned........I have some exciting news to share, but not just yet.... will tell you all very soon ;)

As it's the 15th August when this posts our new kitchen will have been started now...at least I hope it will ! No doubt I will be awash with loads of cardboard boxes packed with all my old kitchen stuff. I hope the two weeks go quickly now. Update!...yes our kitchen has been started and now being plastered too yipee ;)

Anyway enjoy your week whatever you have planned and come and see my card below ;)

Neat and Tangled stencil Rice Paddies
Versafine Onyx Black ink
TH Distress inks
MFT Die-namics stitched die
First I made my A6 card base then added another top panel. I coloured my topper using my stencil and blended several colours of ink through it.
I stamped the flowers direct to my card topper and used a stitched edge die. I attached it all to my card base then stamped a sentiment and attached that also leaving it slightly curved.

Please add our cue card below when entering our challenge.
Also remember to read our rules also to be in with a chance
of a prize this time too.
You have until the 25th August to enter.

Altenew sentiment stamp Floral Art
Altenew Watercolor Stripes stencil
TH Distress inks
Versafine Onyx Black ink
N&T sequins

These are my favourite stamps so far , I just love these pretty flowers! I used a stencil and softly coloured my background then stamped and coloured my flowers and leaves in these two pretty colours.

I fussy cut them all  then attached them to my topper and then my A6 card base. I raised some of the flowers up using 3d pads for interest. Then I added my stamped sentiment colouring the edge of the card to match my pink flowers.

A touch of glamour dust and a sprinkling of sequins and my card was complete.

This is another favourite stamp of mine and also a Clearly Besotted one too. Seeing as they are sponsoring us this month I thought I would include a card using it also.

I made the card the same way as the last one, except that I stamped direct to my card topper and didn't fussy cut my flowers this time. I quite like the blue and peachy colour combo too, not one I have used before I think either.

Here is our cue card below, please include it if you enter our challenge.
You have until the 25th August to enter, more details on our blog if wanted.

Wonderful Time card and another sea horse!

Good afternoon friends, how are we all today?
feeling good I hope ;)

I have my second card for 'Less is More' to
share with you today. Remember it has to be
a 'one layer' card and the theme is 'Time'.

Do try and join in, some lovely cards there
already, do pop in and have a peek if you
 have a moment.

I also painted another sea horse, look below
my card if you care to ;) I have decided
the first one (see previous post) is a bad
tempered pregnant female lol. This one is
her long suffering husband he he. Look
out for junior soon !

Right back to my 'LIM' card, sorry to
make this a long post but I will also include
details of how I made it. After a few people
were asking me questions (and as I don't do
video....sorry just not got a clue about that
 lol ).

For this card I used smooth white card  and
stamped the circles using a My Favourite Things
stamp 'Party Patterns'. I used Hero Arts
shadow ink in Soft Sky and Soft Vanilla.

I then added my sentiment using Clearly
Besotted 'Most Wonderful'. I used my
 Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I added a few sparkly dots using my
quickie glue pen and some glamour dust.
I finished it off using my permanent black
pen to add a few strokes. I was thinking
'fireworks' and New Year maybe ??

Anyhoo come and have a quick look at
 my makes ;)

ps. sorry there is often a ps......my lovely OH
is making art clay atm. (amongst other things...he
is very crafty too) and getting me to save  used
tea bags .....for soil to go with his fairy cottages
I think he he ! the first one is  almost finished,
 I am soo excited...pics soon!

April Showers

Good morning play mates, how are you today?
Pouring down...rather wet here alas but hoping
it will improve very soon ;)

I am back with another 'Less is More' challenge
card. It's a 'theme' this time and.....

"We'd like you to use 3 STAMPS
This could be 3 individual stamps or the same
 3 stamps used multiple times."

Ok I can do this......not! I tried several things,
all of which just didn't look right. I am not
that happy with this effort either but hey ho
I am going with it anyway!

So come and have a quick peek and see
what you think......looking out of the window
you can see why showers were on my mind !

ps. This is me trying to do a brief post for a
change. Not finding it easy!!!! Anyway
enjoy your weekend whatever you have
planned ! I am doing shabby chic 'stuff',
........more soon ;)
