More 'LIM' GD cards

Hi there friends, I am back to share more cards for the 'Less is More' challenge again. Their theme is 'Water' (in any of it's forms, snow, ice, mist etc.) and I am lucky to be their Guest Designer this time too.

My first two cards were very similar and I used raindrops as my theme. This time I am going with 'sea' and 'snow' for my last two cards. Hope you will try and join in with this challenge, some lovely cards in the gallery already and beautiful examples made by the talented  DT there too.

Anyway here are my cards, so come and have a quick nosey. Apologies for my lack of commenting recently but I have had more stomach problems lately. Also computer problems which isn't helping either lol. I seem to be ok now though so will be visiting you all very soon ;)

So sorry 'LIM' are losing Trina  as their team member but wish her well and would also like to welcome Kylie Michelle and Stephanie. Such a great addition to their team.

 I  hand painted my snowy scene using a circle of card as my mask for the moon. I stamped and embossed the trees , stamped the birds and then added a few tiny dots for snow using my gel pen.

I cut a rectangle from the middle of another piece of card to use as a frame. 

 

LIM Guest Designer #386 Water

Hi there friends, I am honoured to be Guest Designer over at the 'Less is More' challenge this time. I do love joining in their challenges as you probably noticed lol. Their theme is 'Water' this time, it can be in any form...water, ice, snow so lots of possibilities here.

I went with 'raindrops' as I found these unloved stamps which had been sitting looking at me for a while now. The first card I made didn't work out as my sentiment covered my raindrops ....argggh and it was going so well at first!  anyway I made another (see my second card below).

Hmm I wasn't so keen on the raindrops I used this time... so back to making another like the first one I messed up lol. Are you still following me ? I then made another card (the 1st one you see below)...this time leaving a space for my silvery embossed  sentiment.....and relax !

I added a few more raindrops in between my sentiment using some different raindrop stamps I have. I gave it all a watery background before stamping. A bit of shadow and highlight and my card was complete.

I made a couple more cards too but I will show you those in another post soon. Hope you enjoy seeing them all and hope you will join in the challenge this time too ;)

Without the Rain card

Good morning friends, popping by with another quick 'Less is More' card today. It has to be 'one layer'  and the theme is 'Water' this time.       Luckily I had just bought these yummy stamps. I added a touch of shimmer with my Wink of  Stella but hard to see here.       Our garden smells divine atm., bluebells and lots of  colour everywhere it really is a Spring garden. Just imagine the perfume please ;)         I have added a few pics if you want a peek. Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned.   ps. I have been making quite a few Art Deco cards lately. Not my usual CAS style at all but enjoying it for a change.        Have a quick stroll back through my pages if you are feeling nosey ;) More like that to come too I'm afraid as I seem to  have the bug now lol.
