LIM #449 Shades of Blue

Hi there friends, just popping by with another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again today. Their theme is 'Shades of  Blue', which I love seeing as I seem to make so many blue cards lately lol.

Anyway come and have a peek at my card below, enjoy your day whatever you have planned ;)
Caught up with my commenting at long last too...phew!

For my card I cut my A6 card base then stenciled my background in various shades of blue DI. Next I cut my Impression Obsession flowers using my die then coloured them in various shades of blue also.
A few clear gems completed my card....oops I see one dropped off on the last pic.

Blue flowers card

It's week 60 now over at 'Less is More' & it's
a recipe this time which is...........
                Take three challenges
We have to combine three challenges from previous
weeks so I chose the following.

Week 5 colour pastel colours
Week 16 theme butterfly/butterflies
Week 22  colour shades of blue

I used my new Artemio clear stamps & stamped
three of the flower heads onto a layer of card. I hand
drew the stems as I found the stem stamp parts a bit
thick and blurry looking when stamped...so annoying
that. I then used some chalk to add interest. I
punched a butterfly and coloured it in a matching
Promarker. I stamped the sentiment ( Jane's script),
using the same blue ink as one of the flower heads
(Ultramarine). A little glamour dust on the edge of
the flowers & a few coloured pearls completed
the card. I used little 3d pads to raise the main image
 layer too.
Such a busy time this next week, including a funeral,
days away, baby sitting , trips to my sons & an Easter
egg hunt & meal I always host for all our children etc. at
the weekend too.So  that's why I had to make my card
 so early.Happy crafting everyone !
