Hi playmates, I am late doing my 'Less is More'

so no time to play until today !

As usual last week's card would have been
perfect....well if it had been one layer it would
 have been lol.

This week we have to make a 'one layer' card
 with the theme of......

It was our 44th Wedding Anniversary the day before
so double celebrations.

I made a red velvet  chocolate  cake with two layers
of chocolate and raspberry cream  inside  and
covered it with chocolate icing too.

Yum yum, only a small piece left now of course lol.
We had  an  amazing day too, all 11 of us ;) I made
some chocolate 'bark' with a rose each for the
 girlies too.

gentlemen....no idea either!).....see here and now
we all understand where it came from....and relax.

I have another  'LIM' challenge card to share
with you all again. I was in a card making frenzy
yesterday so there will be lots more next week
 I think.

See sketch below my card for this weeks theme
over at 'LIM' towers. I managed to use some gold
on my card. I have been dying to use gold lately
for some reason. Also a bit of texture on the card
this time too ;)

Have a lovely Sunday playmates, whatever you
have planned. Now come and have a closer

Pink bow card

Good afternoon everyone, I hope all is well in your world.
I have a second 'Less is More' card to show you today.

The theme this week over at 'LIM' is a recipe and
'Use a recycled item'. My recycled item is a fabulous
pink ribbon !

My daughter gave me this marvellous glass container full
of Rose bath oil by Dior. It smelt divine too, all gone now
 alas!

I couldn't bring myself to throw the pretty glass container out
and it still sits in my spare bathroom, I may fill it with
more bath foam.

Anyway I digress, around it was the most gorgeous pink
chiffon ribbon. I have been wondering what to do with it for
 ages now.

In truth I didn't want to cut it, but I summoned up the courage
and used it on this card. Ahem.........I will probably keep it
now too lol.

I used one of the freebie sentiments the lovely Chrissie made
recently. Thank you Chrissie they print beautifully too.

I used some old eye shadow around the heart shape ( more
recycling) and a bit of old tinsel I found to suspend it from
 the bow itself.

A tiny heart gem finished it off and also went with the tiny hearts
embossed on the heart shape too.
I will show you the lovely glass container below also :)

Apologies for the long post AGAIN !, just scroll  straight to
the card if you like, I will understand !

Also a very big welcome to yet another follower Marcy.
Thank you so much for choosing me to follow :)

Pink, bow,LIM, CAS
Hope you like the large blousy bow :)

ps. Our son has just finished his usual yearly cycle around our
part of the coast.....250 miles over 3 days ! He says it was
very hard this time, I wonder if it will be his last one?

Also I have been in the wars today :( Another 'fast' day and
doing well so far, not eaten much. I have started using my
Wii excercise machine again, had a quick forest walk and
also started day 1 of the 30 day 'plank' challenge (google it).

So far so good..............

All was going well when my OH asked me to help him in the
garden with a ratchet thingummy. He is taking small tree stumps
out. Anyway before I could help  a large VERY heavy metal
mesh type frame which was leaning against a tree fell on my leg.

Arghhhh, not good, my leg is very badly scraped/cut in several
sections! I look a real site and it HURTS !!! OH was really upset
he had asked me to help at all now of course.

On the plus side my lovely navy jeans weren't damaged at all !

Lets just say I will be wearing either jeans or a long dress for a
 while now lol.

Less is More flourish card

It's week 74 over at 'Less is More' & this week
it's a lucky dip and......
For our challenge we have decided to take our
"Less is More"
header as the inspiration for this challenge.
I thought and thought what to do this week, not an easy
one I fear this time. Anyway inspiration dawned today at last and I
decided to use the wording part. I added a flourish,a little music,
clear gems & a hanging heart with M&C added for Chrissie
& Mandi.I used some pink TH distress ink ( I know Mandi will
approve :) and some glamour dust for sparkle too ( on the
large L & M). I have learnt so much from them doing these
challenges, thankyou so much. Also to all the lovely LIMettes
who have inspired me also and been such great friends too,
 I love you all :)
ps. Ahem....and yes back to pink again lol !
