The Flower Challenge #62 Reminder

Hi there friends, back today with another reminder card over at 'The Flower Challenge'. Our theme this month is 'Add  Leaves', another easy one I think.
Our Guest Designer is Dhruvika, see a reminder of her card and all of the other gorgeous cards in our gallery.
Can't believe it's almost Christmas  already, how did that happen ? I hope you are getting ready for it, I try and buy all my presents in October so it isn't such a mad rush. My Xmas cards should be almost made by now I am hoping too as I write this post ahead of time.

For this card I made my usual A6 card base then used my Altenew water colours around the edge. Next I made a topper and added some leaves using my Altenew leaf Cluster dies, first colouring my leaves in a few shades of green. I used my Altenew Grateful Heart stamp once again and water coloured and fussy cut my flowers and leaves and added it all to my card topper.
A few matching blue and green sequins completed my card. I think I am loving the blue and green colour combo now too!

The Flower Challenge #41 Reminder

Hi there friends, I am back with another reminder card for 'The Flower Challenge'. This time we want you to 'Add leaves', as well as the usual flowers of course too.

Our Guest Designer this month is the talented Galina Filippenko (our winner for last August). Do try and visit her blog too if you can as she makes such beautiful cards.

Ok back to my card, here it is below, it reminds me of Spring for some reason...but maybe I am just wishing it here lol ;)

I made my card base then used my stencil to add a pale pattern to my card. Then I stamped and die cut all my flowers and leaves. I coloured all my images and added them to my card base, using 3d pads on the flowers. A sprinkling of sequins and my card was complete.

I made my card base then cut my silver frame using the cover die. I blended some Distress inks over the lower half of card and did a bit of spattering too. I stamped, embossed and coloured my flowers and leaves and fussy cut them out. I used 3d pads to attach them to my card and it was complete.
