LIM card #431
Hi there crafty friends, I hope your weekend is going well so far. We had sun here today at first but now it's clouding up and rain expected again. Plus we are expected to go into lockdown for a month next week too here in the UK (so the papers are saying). Other than that everything is just fine and dandy lol ;)
Anyway I am in my craft room keeping busy so we are all luckier than most I think having this amazing hobby. Even if it does cost us a fortune whenever we see more 'stuff'. That's the trouble with blog hopping isn't it!
Anyway I am here to share my latest card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. This time it's a recipe and 'More than one type of foliage'. Hmm quite an easy one this time I am pleased to say. I used these pretty leaf dies by Lawn Fawn I have had a while now, a new stencil by Sweet Dixie and my TH distress inks. The sentiment is a RVD one too.
As it's now Autumn the light is getting very bad to take photographs once more. Do you have that trouble too? I did think about getting a light box, do you use one? I decided to try taking some pics in my well lit kitchen seeing as we have a new one (well last year it was). Will see how that goes anyway ;)
Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned ;)

Stunning work as always Viv. I've been thinking light box too! I'll see what you think of it first LOL.
As for the lockdown, we are being told that this will be our last one until after Christmas, I can't see the sense of that! If things are bad surely we'll have to go into it again, so confusing with different parts of the country doing different things!

Hi Viv, absolutely gorgeous, love the colours of the leaves and your fab design.
Have heard that Bojo is being forced into lockdown, of course way too late once again, but I feel it's necessary, Scotland may follow too, but as yet not heard anything. Our tier thingy comes in on Monday. Keep safe, Kate x
Lovely make and such rich autumnal colours too

absolutely gorgeous, viv!
Such a colourful and vibrant autumnal card and so very pretty. The photos look great Viv and the lighting looks great x.
This is beautiful, Viv. Loving those warm tones against the crisp white. And your photo staging is always stunning. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
I can only usually photograph in the evenings as I work full time so I have a little lamp with a daylight bulb. On the opposite side of what I'm photographing I just place a white board to reflect some of the light back. Sometimes the lamp can be a bit bright so I place some vellum in front of the bulb to diffuse it slightly. Hope that helps x
Sorry to be so late commenting on this delicious card, Vee, but I've kept it in my inbox until I had the chance. I absolutely adore it. Those beautiful leaves just explode from my monitor! And I love the soft touch of stenciling in the background. I hope you're keeping well. Hugs, Dee
