RVD Bountiful Blooms Slimline
Hi there friends, I hope all is well in your world today ? I am popping in with more crafty things to share using the latest digi release from RachelVassDesigns. This one is called 'Bountiful Blooms' and it's just fabulous! See Rachel's Etsy shop to buy anything link HERE.
Just adding here that Rachel will be releasing all of her future designs on the 3rd of the month from now on and not weekly. Also there is an Instagram hop on this month with a chance to win all of the new November release! Whoo hoo..... see my Instagram link for more details HERE
(Quick update, I designed two A4 calendars for a give away too, you get them free if you buy any of the new releases!)
I made a slimline card and also an A4 page.... which I later framed too. For my card I used some digital water colouring on the background and then added my digital flowers and used my Copics for colouring them. I took some silver sparkly card and made a scalloped edge for the backing part. A few sequins and it was complete.
For my next project, I was just messing about really! I using various digital colours and digi brushes and used lots of digi masking etc. As well as using Rachel's gorgeous flowers of course. I added a top part and some shadow for depth (digital again) and used the wording from the same set, shading the text and adding an outline to match my background colours.
Then of course I realized it was not card sized and actually an A4 page lol! So I decided to just frame it, quite pleased with the result, I was going for 'ethereal'. I have just bought these gorgeous sparkly angel wings so used them in my photo to match the theme of the A4 page ;)
Does anyone else love angels? I am even reading about them now and learning more and more as I go along. Maybe it's a Covid thing and we are each being drawn into more spiritual things.....or maybe it's just me lol ;) Anyway enjoy your weekend/week whatever you have planned ;)
