Star cards

Hi there friends, hope your weekend is going ok so far? Loving this warm weather we are having here at present, should be 24C on Monday too...whoo hoo...won't last of course lol !
Anyway I am just popping by to share my latest cards made for this week's 'Less is More' challenge.
They want us to use 'stars' this time and it's also the dreaded 'one layer' card week too. Yikes! ...my first thought was whatever will I make. Then I remembered an older stamp set I have with stars in it so I made a card using a few of the stamps in that set.

Of course when I had finished it I wasn't happy.....so I had another idea....like the LIM challenge...less really is more I thought......just keep it SS...or stupid simple! I found a nice sentiment stamp I like and silver embossed it. Then I drew a few stars and embossed them in silver too. A bit of watercolour in the background and it was complete. Am much happier with my simpler card ;)

A big welcome to all my latest followers also...welcome aboard and thanks for choosing to follow me.
I am back tomorrow with another 'reminder' card for 'The Flower Challenge', do help us celebrate our first birthday...there are prizes too! Of course as always....enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned ;)

LIM, Xmas, CAS
This was my second attempt but adding it first as I like it better ;)

White Linen card
Clearly Besotted sentiment stamp
Wow Silver Sparkle E/P
Quickie glue pen
Zig clean Color pen

I added some sparkle to the stars and hand drew a few more stars  too.

Bristol Board card
Avery Elle stamps
MFT Black Licorice ink
Glamour dust
Promarker pen (for shadow)
Black permanent pen

Love how your blue sky slightly resembles a Christmas tree shape too!

Glad you noticed that Maria, it was intentional but I didn't think anyone would notice that ;)

Both cards are beautiful, although I really like the super CaS- and watercolour style of your first one! Hope you are having a good week!

Loving the frosty feel of the aqua and silver, and that sentiment is one of my favourites by CBS, love the font. Gorgeously CAS.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
