The Flower Challenge #11 'Focus on Background Stamping'

We have a new challenge for you over at
'The Flower Challenge'
This month we want to see you........

(Please use our cue card above when entering our challenge.)

I just had to use my lovely new flower dies. I think
these will be my new favourites from now on, so
expect to see them a  lot.

Anyhow come and have a peek at my cards.
I have a twofer for you this time!

The Flower Challenge, background stamping, CAS

White Linen card
TH Watercolour card
WPlus9 Warm Welcome leaf stamps
Lil' Inkers Autumn Leaves stamps
Clear Embossing ink
Wow White Embossing Powder
TH Distress inks
Sizzix TH dies Wildflower
Neat & Tangled sequins

I stamped and heat embossed  my watercolour card
using my large leaf stamp. Then I watercolured all
around them loosely using my TH Distress ink.

Then I die cut all my flowers and blended some
more watercolours on them all. I stuck them to my
card layer and then stamped tiny  leaves to the side
of my flowers. I stuck my watercolour card to an
A6 top fold card base.A sprinklng of sequins and
 my card was finished.

I hope you like my card and please check out all
my teamies beautiful creations too and leave them
 some comment love ;)

You have until the 25th August to join in our
challenge. I will be back  with another reminder
card on the 15th as always.

Here is another quick card I made with a stencilled
and stamped background this time. I was pleased
with the colour combo too.

The Flower Challenge, CAS

White Linen card
TH Watercolour card
Neat & Tangled 'Rice Paddies' stencil
TH Distress inks
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Concorde & 9th Hello Lovely stamps
Penny Black sentiment stamp
Neat & Tangled sequins

Simple card really, I just used my TH distress inks
over the stencil on my watercolour card, then stamped
my flowers in each corner. I then added  all that to my
top fold card base. I added my sentiment and a
sprinkling of sequins and job done!

What fabulous inspiration! Absolutely gorgeous colours and beautiful design. I really love the leaf background in your first card. It adds some grounding to the flowers, but I'm a huge fan of rainbow details on cards so I adore your second card. Xx

Two beautiful cards with similar color combo yet in totally different look !!! Love the softness of the first card and the design idea to stamp the big floral cluster in black on the second card! Awesome cards, Vivien!!!
