Purple & Gold
Good morning friends, it's Bonfire night tonight here
in the UK. Think I will just be keeping warm
indoors though as I have caught my dear beloved's
cold grrr!
Happy memories of previous years when our children
were small and got so excited. I would make lots of
treacle toffee .......I think they secretly still miss
that too ;)
Anywhoo back to my card, it's a colour challenge
over at 'Less is More' this time and....
PURPLE & GOLD
Oooh I am liking that colour combo very much!
My head is spinning a bit with this darn cold, sneeze,
cough, sniffle....... but after some thought
I managed to make this quick card. Come and
have a peek and see what you think ;)
Dear Chrissie over at 'LIM' is stepping down for a
while. She is so busy just now so I quite understand.
She will still be sadly missed though, sob sob ;(
The DT will do just fine I am certain, such a great
talented group of girls and Jen is back too yipee ;)

Sorry to hear you're poorly.... that treacle toffee would have done you good too... it was always made in our house for bad throats and coughs! This weekend I made sticky gingerbread (parkin without the oats!) - and that went down really well! Barry's grandson was here and he had four pieces - one straight after the other!

Such a perfect use of the colours Viv. This card just oozes class and elegance. The shaped panel above the solid purple is very dramatic and the delicate touches of gold and the splatters balance the card wonderfully. Sensational. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More.

Beautiful card Viv. Love the gold and purple it might have to become my favourite colour. Sat there last night and ended up with four cards and love them all. Just a stunning look as were your pink ones. I havent been able to comment on my ipad for the last week, yes it took me a week to work out what to do. The ipad and Feedly are now working fine and I can catch up on comments.
