Watercolour Sea Horse card

Hi friends, how are things with you today?
I hope your weekend is going well so far ;)
Guess what....yes I have another
'Less is More' card to show you.

It's a Recipe this week and they would like
 us to use a ........

 'Sticker, sticky label or peel-off
on your cards!'

Oh my! I bet I wasn't the only one to
feel shock and horror at that little idea !
They do like to stretch us Limettes don't
 they.

Which is why I can't resist joining in
of course. It makes us really think of
things in a new light. I came up with this
idea, ....yes I know more sea horses
 AGAIN!

Just cannot stop using them lately. Anyway
I searched my hoard of peel off's (just can't
bring  myself  to get rid of them). Although I
now  hate them with a passion of course! Well
maybe not anymore thanks to 'LIM' ;)

I used a sea horse peel off and a few bubble
type peel off's as  a mask and then watercoloured
over  them.I added lots of small sequins and tiny
beads and dotted some liquid pearls here and
 there.

I then edged the image with a stitched border
and using a Copic to edge the whole thing for
more interest. I stuck that to a white A2
card base. Phew job done !

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have
planned. We are off to the Lake District soon
for another mini break, hope the weather
will be good like last time ;)

ps. As promised pics of the Dinosaur park
trip we had recently with our littlies ;)
.....some dinosaurs were sooo massive too,
gave the littlies an idea just how big they
 were ;)

LIM, CAS, Seahorse

Watercolour card
Smooth white card
TH Distress inks
Anita's outline stickers
Die-namics Wonky Stitches die
Liquid pearls
Little Things sequins and beads
Copic pen

Also now adding this to the NBUS challenge #7
'Anything goes'
I used my very very very old stickers!

So, so pretty! (And is that a new blog header too? Gorgeous!) The sea horse is beautiful, and set off so perfectly by the soft background and bubbles. The dinosaur world photos are great - I bet the adults had as much fun as the kids! Enjoy your mini Lake District break :)

What a superbly creative use of peel offs - it makes me wish I hadn't given all mine away :( - I will have to replace them now :O - LOVE those photos, especially the one that looks as though that pterodactyl? is ready to take your little GS away (was that played for or serendipity?). Have a great break! Hazel xx

Thanks Sandy, I used the peel off's as a mask and then watercoloured over them and peeled them off to leave the white outline.HTH ;)

Gr8 idea to remove the peel off "mask" - creates a much softer image

Fun to see that you had such beautiful peel-offs in your stash...I really had to turn a lot of boxes upside down to find some stckers...
Love the colours as allways!
The pics give a good impression of how big they are; they look lovely!
Enjoy the bank holiday!
