Feminine versus Masculine cards

Hi friends, just popping in to show you two
cards. I saw that 'Make the Day Special' wanted
us to join in with them and show different  contrasts
in cards using different techniques they had shown
over a week.

One of  the choices was to use the same set
of stamps and make a feminine card and also
a masculine card. I thought that sounded a
great idea as I had only just bought one
of the sets they showed us.

I made the cards and was going to link them
there . Alas today when I looked the linky thing
has closed !! Doh, why didn't I check the dates.
Anyway I thought I would just show you all
instead ;) Handy to  be  able to make both types
of card from the same set of stamps. What do
you think, does it work ??....I will let you decide !

Feminine version

Flowers, CAS, Make the day Special

Masculine version

White Linen card
Kraft card
WPlus9 Fresh Cuts stamps
TH Distress inks
Hero Arts Shadow ink
Glamour dust
Twine
Tiny staples

Challenges

'Less is More'  #222 Colour 'Use opposite colours on the wheel'
I used red and green for the top card so think it qualifies.

Two fabulous cards Viv. Just shows what you can do with a little imagination. I would never have thought of using that stamp for a male card but it works really well.

Gorgeous cards - so glad our contrast posts inspired you and sorry you missed linking up. Glad I spotted you on the LIM board so I didn't miss that you'd joined in.

I think they work beautifully Viv! Isn't it annoying when you miss the date . . . I've done that . . . I think we all have! Who would have thought that the same stamp set would work for both masculine and feminine . . . and work so wonderfully! Hope your finger is healing well! Have a great week! Hazel xx

2 fantastic dreamy cards Viv and I love them both! Great use of the same images. I spy a couple of specs of blue on that top card!!!! ;-) As it's you we may have to let it pass! Thanks as always for playing along.

VERY clever interpretation in both cards, love them, glad you showed that the same image could be made for both men and women, that's thinking outside the box me thinks!
