Week 11 now over at 'Less is More'............how did that happen??
I just can't believe how these weeks are flying past! Anyway this week
the challenge is to use ACETATE. ......when I had picked myself up
off the floor in shock lol..........I started thinking about a design using
the dreaded acetate. Took me ages to find it for a start, lots of riffling
through 'stuff '........no need to explain that to fellow crafters I am sure.
Anyway I made my usual 5 1/2" linen card, then cut a section off the top
and trimmed the bottom . Then I cut a piece of acetate to fit the gap,
lots of umming and ahhing as I became a sticky mess and so did my acetate
as I was using a glue stick for quickness. ( Note to self) do not use a glue stick
next time...use ds tape you stupid woman! Next I found some really bright shimmery
cardstock which was already ' rippled '.Then decided a butterfly would be a good
subject to cut from it so used my trusty cuttlebug to do the deed. I stamped ( onto
more acetate) and heat embossed two more tiny butterflies, coloured them with
my Copics and cut them out and stuck them all to the acetate part of the card. Oh
my what a long explanation again.......sorry. Hmmm still not sure I like it , may make
another if I find time, but at least I had a 'go' :O) Good luck everyone, some great
cards already, ......and made so quickly too. Oh and another thing it isn't easy
taking a photo of these acetate cards either lol !!!!!
Thanks to C&M again for another great challenge ,....... although I wasn't thanking you
to start with this morning lol.

I think that loads of you will be crafting some form of ducking stool for Mandi and me... it's already been suggested that maybe we'd be candidates for burning at the stake... but I think you love us really!
This looks great Viv, that centre butterfly is a cracker!
Thanks for not giving in!

Lovely card Viv. I really like the way you've cut out a piece of card and added the acetate - I will be having a go at doing this too. The butterflies are so pretty, especially the ribbed one. Sue.x
GORGEOUS - those butterflies are fab - well done for not giving up too :)

Lovely card. I know how you felt when I saw acetate, but you really pulled it together and made a wonderful card.
PS - I didn't even bother trying to take the photo to show/proved it was acetate. That stuff is too hard to photograph.
Gorgeous card Viv I am waiting until Mick is at work tomorrow so i can enter again, like you I have some acetate somewhere better look it up. I have fed your fish they were hungry :O) Chris xx
This card is fabulous! I know what you mean about photographing acetate! It took me about 6 shots to get one decent (ish) one! x
Beautiful card, love the colorfull butterfly!
