Cute dog card

Hi there friends, I am back with another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. The theme this time is 'Pets'. I don't have a lot of animal stamps but I did find this cute doggie one, unused of course...oh the shame!

Good chance to use it then I thought. Why is it we buy stuff and then never use it?...I guess we buy on a whim then forget how we were planning to use it lol. That's my excuse anyway.

Much cooler here today ......such a relief..and we have rain too....so great for all our parched lawns and plants ;)

Enjoy your week whatever you have planned. It was my birthday yesterday (had a lovely day too) and it's our son and DIL's in the next few days so we are all celebrating at ours at the weekend as usual. A yummy chocolate & raspberry pavlova is planned and I have a new quiche recipe too....wish me luck ;)

Ok enough ramblng again ..... here is my card !

Snoopy dog card

Hi everyone, I think Winter has returned here today, so
cold and windy. More like December than May, still in my
thick winter jumpers lol. I have yet another 'Less is More'
card to show you today. It's a theme this week and..........
Cats and/or Dogs
After making two cat cards I thought it was time for a doggie
one so here it is. I think it looks like Snoopy to me, it was another
Simply Cards & Papercrafts  digi download freebie. So it's a
Beagle I think if I am right.  Apparantly "One of his hobbies is
reading Leo Tolstoy's epic  novel  'War and Peace' at the  rate
of  "a word a day". Snoopy also  has the uncanny ability to play
fetch with soap bubbles, and  can hear someone eating
marshmallows or cookies at a distance,  or even peeling a banana.
He claims to hear chocolate chip cookies calling him." Anyway
I hope he will put a smile on your  face today, come and
 have a closer look......
ps. Busy day today, been up since 5.30.am coughing again!!!, did
2 lots of washing ,cleaned the bathrooms, changed the bed. Had a
walk in the forest, planted loads of new plants in our front garden for
Summer ( if we ever get one). Now having a rest !!!!....and relax.

Heaven bound set

Here are another  two DT cards made for Beccy over at
'Beccy's Place'. These two images are called 'Heaven bound '
 and both are available HERE.
I decided to use them as sympathy cards for the loss of a pet.
Although they can be used for other cards too, even
Christmas ones. Visit Beccy's blog to see the other cards there.
The first card  I made was using her 'Heaven bound dog' image.
I used Copics/Promarkers to colour it and did some soft
chalking behind the image.I added a bit of glamour dust around
the halo and wings .I also added a few hand drawn paw prints &
a bit of shadow on the main image too. A computerized sentiment
& a few embossed lines completes the card.
The second card was made using Beccy's 'Heaven bound cat'
image. I used my rectangles nesties to cut the image & coloured
it with Copics/Promarkers again & did some chalking around the
image. I also added an  embossed  panel with little birds on ( birds
& swirls?) which I thought went with the cat image :) A
computerized sentiment & a few gems completes the card.
Hope you like these cute images, they can also be made to look
'happy' too if you add a line making a smile on them as Beccy
found out.Check out Beccy's other digi images, she has some lovely
 ones there.
ps. I hope you like my new image of my cheeky grandson Charlie too, ....his
surprised look I think :)
