More Christmas cards

Good afternoon everyone, I am here once
again to show you more Christmas cards
I have made.

Simple ones again but I do like simple ;)
Handy tip! if your vellum looks creased
after you stick it down, pass it through your
machine. I used my A4 'Happy Cuts' and it
 came out fine!

On the first one, my printer was playing up and
the paper printed in lilac shading to grey. I
quite like the effect though so used it anyway.
I embossed some of the sentiments using
 a 'snowy' folder.

Pink Petticoat 'Pretty Flakes' digi paper, DSB sentiment

Similar card but all grey this time, same digi paper and sentiment

Same digi paper in pink this time and a Clearly Besotted sentiment

Same paper and same sentiment but on vellum this time and heat embossed

Same paper and vellum but heat embossed in blue this time

In lilac this time and a DSB sentiment again,Poppystamps snowflake

Blossom card,tag and bag

Good afternoon friends, brrr it's a bit chilly
here today. Autumn is well and truly here
I think.

I have a few photo's to share with you.
I made a few cards and matching bags and
also a bottle  tag. This is the pink set,
I will show you the Cool Aqua set
 in another post.

Blossom, Thank you

I just fancied making a few bags for
my SIL's & a friend with a matching
card. As we are visiting them soon, I
thought it would be a nice surprise.

I will either fill the bags with some
yummy chocolates or bake some
cookies. I may add a pair of earrings
if I can find the time to make some.
They do seem to LOVE my earrings
 lol!

Pink, blossom, bag

I have some clear acetate to wrap them
( the cookies/chocs) in. I will add a
matching ribbon too. Then pop it all
in one of the bags. The wine of course
and maybe a nice bouquet of flowers
 too ;)

The bags were a bit of a faff to make,
but after a couple of trial runs I just
went for it with proper card! Lots of
tutorials out there so I won't add a link.

I have another 'Less is More' card to
share with you today.......infact I have
 three !!!

The theme this week is.........

 Technology

I thought this would prove to be a
very difficult type of card to make
but infact it was very easy.

Don't you just love  it when
that happens ;) I used some Pink
Petticoat digi papers, a new set of
dies (Die-Namics) I have just aquired
and a little inspiration from the web.

So technology helped me make these
if you think about it ! Anyway come
and have a closer look.

Enjoy your weekend whatever
 you have planned ;)

Flamingo card

Good morning friends, it's a lovely warm
and sunny day here today. I hope you all
have it too.

Late with my Saturday 'Less is More' card
as our son asked us to join them for a nice
pub lunch and walk yesterday.Their  baby is
 due any minute of course.

My DIL looks  amazing too. I suggested
names which they liked, no decision yet
though ;) Next Friday is the day she will
arrive , unless it happens naturally before
then. She is breech atm. too still.

Such a  lovely day, anyway I have made my
card at  last! It's a colour challenge this
week and....

SUNSET

Of course sunset said pink to me lol. Well
it would of course and everyone who knows
me won't be at all suprised !

I went for an Ombre look, pale shades of the
setting sun....well that's what it said to me
anyway.

I wanted a watercolour look to my
flamingo and tried my new Zig Clean color
real brush pens. (HAD to get those when I saw
them whilst blog hopping).....yes I know not
easy on  the purse this blog hopping is it!!!

After much effort ( several coloured images) and
trying various mediums I  relented and had to use
my trusty Copic pens. The printed image didn't
 like watercolour of  course.

Loving the new pens though so you will be seeing
more of them very soon. Sooo hard to open though,
my poor nails haven't  recovered yet...and I have
only opened 3 so far!!

Enough waffling from me again, come and have a
closer look ;) here is my card....

It's Saturday again, they rush by so quickly don't they ?
I have another 'Less is More' card to share with you
today.

This time it's......

'MOSTLY WORDS'

Going for a suble green card today, hope you like the
 ombre effect.

ps. Been so busy sorting 'stuff ' in the house to either
go to auction or to charity this week.

Amazing how much 'stuff' you accumulate over the
years isn't it. Anyway most of it is going as we are
hoping to move house next year as I think you know.

I started on my craft room also.....gulp.....how did I
get such a lot of 'stuff'.....well you all know the answer
to that one I'm sure lol!

It's looking tidier  already and I even found enough
room to make a card !.........happy days ;)
Enjoy your week everyone !

It's a 'one layer card' this  week and the theme is........

"The 12 days of Christmas"
"Feel free to interpret this how you wish... but we
would like to see some connection!"
I went with 'a partridge in a pear tree' as you can see.
PP digi image and computerized sentiment and dotty
edges.A sprinkle of Glamour dust too.

Baby Elephant Get well card

Good afternoon friends/bloggers a rather wet day here grrr.
As it's Saturday once more I have another 'Less is More'
card to show you today.

It's one layer card week again, and the theme this
 time is.......................
Get Well Soon
Not quite as terrified making a one layer card these days
thank heavens. Thanks C&J for quite an easy theme this
week also !
Here is what I came up with, grab a hot drink & come
and take a closer look :)

I will try and leave my ramblings to the end of the post now
as  I know lots of you just want to see the card !!!!

I am the same when short on time, but I do like to read what
you all have to say when I have more time !...oops
rambling here sorry!.....there are photo's too to see :)

PP 'baby elephant' ( old image) ,chalking/Promarkers and
computerized  sentiment. I used a touch of glamour dust
as always too.

I have made another card but it's being 'flattened'
atm. due to inking and warping lol....I got covered
in ink making that one too. I will show it soon.

ps. Got new glasses at last! I went for varifocals this time.
Lots of squinting and close up peering when I go to the
supermarker as I hate having to keep looking for my
 reading  glasses lol.

I think hearing " For goodness sake  ( or other similar words)
mother put your glasses on" from my children and OH made
me realise I should be wearing  them full time lol.

I am  pleased to report I just love them, & took to them straight
away. I know you either love them or hate them when you
try them at first. I chose blue ones to go with my eyes, just a rim
at the top and clear at the bottom. Ahem and no you aren't going
to see a pic of me with them on !

Although now I can see even more things which need
cleaning in the house and can see DIY bits which still need
 doing too.....oh dear.

OH says a divorce might be pending now I can see
more lol....it so made me laugh that....who is he kidding !
Our daughter has been at the Goodwood revival with
friends and as usual  ( they are always dressing up in  strange
outfits when they get a chance) they got dressed up fifties style.

Here are a few pics of what she looked like. I made a couple into
digi pages ( can't stop making digi stuff now either !) so will
include those too. Notice the errrr PINK phone
box........now who do you think she takes after lol.

Few more cards

Hi again, just another quick post today, one card and few 'mistakes'.
The first is for my niece's one year old, where did that year go??
...anyway glad to report she is now expecting baby number two.
Very exciting for us all :) I made this  quick card using a Pink
Petticoat digi image. Don't look too hard at the colouring please.
I had mean't to add glitter to the dress but  then  forgot, so had
to recolour it again,.... didn't take a new pic of course. The hair didn't
turn out great either ! The last two were an idea I had but it didn't
quite work out. Thought I would just show you anyway, after the
second card I lost interest in doing another lol. In the first one
I blurred the stamping, then added trees which didn't look right.
In the second one I did the same again grrrr, gave up after that !
I did like the shape though so just showing you anyway :) Hope
you all have this lovely sun today.I didn't sleep well again
so now off to bathe in a few rays! Take care my  friends.

Just popping by to show you another card today. Made
this one a while ago also. Pink Petticoat  digi papers again

I think. Feeling a bit better, but now got a chesty cough,
so not much sleep again grrr. Managed to make a card yesterday,
though it took me most of the day.Lots of handmade flowers and not
my usual CAS style is all I will say. It was one I had been
wanting to do for ages, ( you know when it goes round and
round in your head lol ). Quite pleased with it though, I will
show you when I get through a few others I have made recently.
Stay well everyone, so many virus's going around just now.
