Pink ribbon card

Hi everyone, I hope you are well today. We had another 2"
of snow again overnight  but it's rapidly melting in the sun
thank heavens. Today I have another 'Less is More' card
to show you. It's a sketch this week and the details are.........
Sketch #8
"This week we have a sketch for you drawn by Jen.
It's simplicity itself, so to add a little constraint, we ask that the card
stays in this orientation ie that the band remains in the horizontal
plane, in the lower part of the card and that it takes up no
more than 1/3rd of the height of the cardbase."
Luckily I soon had a cunning  plan , I had seen an idea on another blog
HERE and although I didn't use the 'padding' method she used I did
get the idea from there so giving due credit. I hope the card is the right
dimention re... ( 1/3 rd of the height etc.), if not I will try again. We have
our lovely grandson arriving very soon so I am off to make some  mini
doughnuts in a machine I bought recently. Not for Charlie of course
( too young I think) but for his parents. I want to try the machine
out so I can throw away packaging if I see it works etc.Well
at least they aren't fried!!! We lost 4lbs this week on our 3 day diet again,
yaaaahhhh......won't  be eating too many doughnuts then I guess lol.
ps. I tried putting my Cuttlebug plates in the oven to straighten them.
170C for 30 mins wrapped in a single layer of foil. It did work ....
BUT I didn't wrap then securely enough at the edge with foil and they
sort of buckled at that edge.Drat!...never mind I do have a spare
set and also my Happy Cuts now too.Stay warm and safe everyone.

Card Recipe
Card   Linen white Papermill shop
Ribbon satin edged from ebay
Nesty   Wonky Rectangles
Embossing folder Cuttlebug Tiny hearts
3d pads
Very thin silver wire ( to fasten ribbon bit)
I twirled the edges of the wire too.

Very stylish and girly, great idea and the twirly wire looks great, a really neat way of finishing the ends. Sounds drastic putting cuttlebug plates in the oven to straighten, never heard that tip before.
