Summer and winter houses cards

Good morning everyone, a very grey & rainy day here today  grrrr ! It's week 93 over at 'Less is More' and one layer card  week once more.The theme this time is...... Houses At first I read it as 93 houses ( it said one layer week 93 houses), oh my ....for a brief second it went through my mind how I was  going to get 93 houses on a card arghhh ! Anyway I got an idea which images to use  almost immediately , so was very pleased. I used an old 'Beccy's Place' digi of a wooden house and also a digi  called 'Beach huts' from a  lovely friend of mine Chrissie  ( not the LIM Chrissie). I made a summer  themed card & also a winter themed card. I used soft chalking for the sun, sky , sea  and sand on the summer card, then  added a few birds freehand. For the winter card I used Promarkers on the image ( as on  the summer image) then stamped some trees and used masks for a snow drift look and added soft chalking for a weak sun too. Hope you like them both.

Key to Happiness card

My last card for the 'Less is More' challenge this week.Week 76,  a one layer card and...... "Three of anything that is, three colours, three images, three stamps, three words, the number three.... it's up to you, but don't forget the white space, a simple design and just one layer!"Had to go for a pink version this time lol.The three things here are the three stamps I used btw. I was so pleased when I realised I could combine these three elements, sentiments from two sets also.ps. It made me smile yesterday when I went to my daughtershouse. I noticed two very gorgeous pairs of new stiletto's  lined upoutside her wardrobe ( should have taken a pic, both were suede and one had a lovely rose on the front), & what colour where they........yes you guessed....PINK  ....now why didn't that surprise me lol !

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days, not beenan easy time lately as many of you will know.Anyway I am hoping my luck has changed now.I was just looking through the very talented  Jak's blog when I noticed my picture! I had quite forgotten that I had even entered a competition to win some lovely Promarkers. Anyway it seems I have won  woohoo ! what a lovely surprise that was for me today. So a lovely set of limited edition Summer Promarkers will be winging their way to me very soon, isn't that great news ! Here is a pic of them, don't they look super summery ! Thanks again Jak :)
