LIM #436 cards
Hi there friends, how are you all ? keeping warm in your craft rooms I hope! We have a bit of snow as I write this, about 4-6inches or.......10 -15 cm...I still think in inches though ;). It has drifted to almost 10 inches in places in our back garden too! Update ...today it's melting thank heavens!
Here is my latest card for the 'Less is More' challenge again, wow and its their 10th birthday too. I can't believe it's been 10 years since it started. I think I have taken part in just about all of them too. Many congrats to you all and let's hope you will keep going for years and years too ;)
So nice to see Chris and Mandi back with a card, they both started this challenge of course!
I made two cards, ...the theme is a colour one and 'Chocolate' mmm what a scrummy challenge it is too! I so love chocolate, not that I can eat much of it anymore after stomach problems in the past...but I can a little and sooo enjoy it.
Enjoy your day friends whatever you are up to and I hope you all have had the the 'jab' or get it very soon. My OH is having his this Thursday so I won't be far behind him I am hoping now. Update...having my jab on Saturday yeaaah!
Come and see my cards...and also a cake I made for our elderly neighbour as a surprise for her birthday. Plain vanilla for a change as I wasn't sure what she liked, but I filled it with elderflower cream and home made strawberry and prosecco jam mmmm.
Yes my mouth is watering at the very thought now too lol. Happy to say she loved it...and the card and the flowers ;)
Stay well and safe my lovely crafty friends!
I used a digi image from Beccy's Place, which was already coloured luckily. I did add the computerized wording in a colour to match and also some liquid (pinched from my OH as my glossy accents was too old and thick) to make the chocolate shine (you can't see it here though sorry!). I used a digi 'briush' to add the swirl under the strawberries.
I made another one too, I used a Dearie Dolls freebie digi and then coloured it using Copics. The wording is computerized including the large L which I coloured to match and I added the number 10 also. I used a digi 'brush' to make the swirl under the cake too ;)
I scattered little snowflakes on top...well it is Winter lol! Oh I so wish I could have had a slice to try it......but never mind. I did try the cream and it was lush, must make it again soon for us.

Gorgeous cards Viv, lovely images and designs, Kate x
Ooh Viv chocolates and cake, you have been busy. Love your dipped strawberries. They make me think it wont be long before we have sunshine and warmth and fresh strawberries to dip. I can't wait. Your cupcake is super too and a lovely way to wish the challenge a happy birthday.
Thanks for sharing with us at Less is More, Lynne x
Yummy cards and yummy cake Viv. The added gloss on the strawberry chocolate is so realistic and I could also dive into one of those too.....And the cake!!! x.

It's just brilliant to see that you are still posting such fabulous makes to LIM Viv. Those choc strawberries remind me of formal nights on Queen ELizabeth and Queen Victoria.. special treats in the stateroom after dinner! Won't be doing another of those for a while I guess.... we can dream!
Brilliant card!
Chrissie xxxx
