Hi there friends, I can't believe it's October already! It will soon be the 'C' word at this rate...oh my!
I am here with another card for 'The Flower Challenge' again. This month our theme is CAS,.... so happy about that I must say ;)
We are being sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, They are giving our lucky winner a voucher for $25. They have also kindly provided stamps for all of our team and our GD too.
I also won a prize over at 'Less is More' recently (thank you !) and so I chose this matching die from 'CASual Fridays Stamps' also. Do check out their lovely crafty goodies if you get a chance !
Our Guest Designer this month is the talented Tina Magnusson, do check out her blog as she has some amazing cards there.
Just realized it's also our 3rd Birthday over at TFC, so here is a little banner for us all to celebrate it ;)

Okay here is my card, come and have a quick peek ;)
I looked again at my 'CAS' card and realised all the 'spraying with mist' didn't really leave any 'white' space as such. So I made another card, I will add it at the top now ;)....made in exactly the same way as my other card.

Smooth White card
CAS-ual Fridays stamps and die Mon Ami
TH Alcohol inks
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Zig pens
Jak Heath Royal Velvet metallic ink mist
I made my A6 card base then stamped my sentiment direct to the card. Then I stamped my leaves on a spare piece of card, cut them out and coloured them with my zig pens.
I sprayed my card with the metallics mist (it really shimmers)and then stamped my flower on some spare card which was inked using alcohol inks. I attached my leaves and flower using 3d pads to raise them up a little and my card was complete.
You can see the shimmer a bit better here I think.

You have done a wonderful job with this stamp, love all your cards!
Hi Viv, your cards are beautiful, it's a lovely design and with such gorgeous colours, Kate x x
Two beautiful cards Viv, they are both fabulous but I think the blue one with the sprayed background the most - I think it is still CAS because the background is not solid.

Both cards are beautiful, but the top one is my favorite; love the colours in the flower! Hope you have a not as wet weekend as we have here... Hugs, Gerrina
Such lovely cards!!! The colors you used are fantastic!
Fabulous colours and beautiful CAS cards. Thank you for the fabulous inspiration and happy 3rd Birthday x
Well Vivien, you created a pair of gorgeous cards, the way you played with the alcohol inks in different colors is fantastic.
Each card is beautiful in it's own way but the first one is my favorite, I just love those gorgeous Autumn colors.
Hugs, my friend.
Maria.
I don't think the splatters take away from the CASness of your second card, Viv, but I love the colors on the first one.
I like both cards. I think the one with the splatters looks clean as well! Pretty design! I love that you popped up the flower and leaves!
Beautiful cards Viv and I love the way the alcohol ink looks on the flowers! Great job and so many beautiful colors!
